(EN), FACTLOG (EN) | FACTLOG, a Horizon 2020 project (GA 869951), aims at enhancing energy and resource efficiency in process industries by combining resource-aware optimisation with the virtualization of production processes based on the interplay between enhanced cognitive twins and real-time analytics. (EN), ROBINSON (EN) | ROBINSON, a Horizon 2020 project (GA 957752), aims at developing an integrated energy management system (EMS), tailored to islands with industrial activities, coupling locally available energy sources, electrical and thermal networks and innovative storage technologies. (EN), IMPETUS (EN) | IMPETUS, a Horizon 2020 project (GA 101037084),aims at developing and validate a coherent cross-sectoral climate change adaptation framework to accelerate the transition towards a climate-neutral and sustainable economy, empowering citizens and societal actors in the co-design of adaptation packages and related implementation pathways. (EN), TREEADS (EN) | TREEADS, a Horizon 2020 project (GA 101036926) ims to build upon state-of-the-art high TRL products and unite them in a holistic Fire Management platform that optimize and reuse per phase the available Socio-technological Resources in all three main phases of Wildfires (prevention & preparedness, detection & response, restoration & adaptation). (EN), H2020 – MUSE GRDIS (Multi Utilities Smart Energy GRIDS) (EN) | The MUSE GRIDS project goes exactly in the direction planned for AIMPRESS project, aiming to demonstrate, system-wide and in real-life operational conditions, a set of both technological and non-technological solutions adapted to local circumstances targeting local urban energy grids (electricity, heating&cooling, water, gas, e-mobility). Particularly, The project MUSE GRID aims at enabling maximization of affordable local energy independency thanks to optimized management of the production via end users’ centred control strategies, smart grid functionalities, storage and energy system integration with the objective of paving the way for their introduction in the market in the near future. (EN), H2020 – INTERRFACE (TSO-DSO-Consumer INTERFACE aRchitecture to provide innovative grid services for an efficient power system) (EN) | The EU-funded INTERRFACE project developed an interface between transmission and distribution system operators (TSOs and DSOs) and the customers to allow seamless integration and efficient use of renewable energy in the electricity grid. The project's new concepts, the proposed common architecture, and digital solutions permitted a wider use of distributed renewable energy resources. With relation to AIMPRESS, INTERRFACE encourages procurement of services at both the transmission and distribution level, recognizing that this will enable more efficient and effective network management and will increase the level of demand response and the capacity of renewable generation. (EN), H2020 – eNeuron (greEN Energy hUbs for local integRated energy cOmmunities optimizatioN) (EN) | eNeuron Projects aims at: (a)optimising the design and operation of local energy communities based on multi-carrier energy systems; (b) setting out a practical framework for optimising the design and operation of local energy communities acting as energy hubs. With relation to AIMPRESS, eNeuron will develop and apply pioneering software and hardware solutions, putting them to the test in real energy communities and introducing new governance models.
- (EN), ERASMUS + THE CRUX (EN) | The prime objective of the project is to provide better professional knowledge and skills of Bachelor, Master and PhD students in Latin America Universities studying Renewable Energy Engineering so to conform their educational standards with European level requirements. Preparation of high quality specialists in Renewable Energy Engineering will support government and private organisation/company activities on expansion of Renewable Energy Sector and satisfy high demand for high quality specialists in this sector across Latin America and EU. Hence, these dissemination and training activities can be connected with scope of AIMPRESS project. (EN), LOCOMOTION - Low-carbon society: an enhanced modelling tool for the transition to sustainability (EN) | The results of the LOCOMOTION Project will utilised to asses the impact of different sustainability options in the ports since the LOCOMOTION project is developing a sophisticated model to assess the socioeconomic and environmental impact of different policy options in order to help society make informed decisions about the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future. (EN), H2020 ENERWATER - Standard method and online tool for assessing and improving the energy efficiency of wastewater treatment plants (EN) | The main objective of ENERWATER was to develop, validate and disseminate an innovative standard methodology for continuously assessing, labelling and improving the overall energy performance in the water treatment sector. With relation to AIMPRESS, It represents a benchmark project for the development of standard methods and digital tools for energy audit and management. (EN), H2020 DWC - Digital Water.City Leading urban water management to its digital future (H2020) (EN) | DWC aimed at creating new linkages between the digital and the physical world by developing, assessing and bringing to the market a panel of 18 advanced tailor-made data and digital technologies for integrated water management. With relation to AIMPRESS, DWC represents a benchmark for the management and utilization of digital data (EN), H2020 ULTIMATE - Industry water-utility symbiosis for a smarter water society (EN) | ULTIMATE is developing digital and physical solutions for water-smart industrial symbiosis connecting urban and industrial water cycles to optimize territorial environmental footprint. With relation to AIMPRESS, ULTIMATE will be synergic with AIMPRESS for the realization of management solutions aiming at the optimization of the territorial environmental footprint (EN), H2020 AquaSPICE - Advancing sustainability of process industries through digital and circular water use innovations (EN) | AQUASPICE is developing cyber-physical systems for industrial water cycle management in order to improve the energy and carbon efficient water re-use.
