- SMILE: FirSt and last Mile Inter-modal mobiLity in congested urban arEas of Adrion Region
- SMILE project is focused on studying the different intermodal mobility options in diverse urban regions of the Adrion Area, with different realities in terms of size and geography. Some areas are more touristic, while others are more affected by pollution and other problems related to transport and the environment. SMILE addresses the different problems by creating IT logical scenarios to allow policymakers and stakeholders to understand the realities and take action. The project has created a common umbrella to elaborate or update transnational SUMPs aiming to promote sustainable mobility systems to reduce congestion, and pollution, achieve more efficiency in traffic flows, promote tourism, etc. (EN) | ADRIAMOVE and SMILE project share a common objective of improving urban mobility and addressing transportation challenges in the Adrion region. ADRIAMOVE connects strongly with the pillars of SMILE, as both projects pursue the enhancement of sustainable electric transport from different points of view. While ADRIAMOVE focuses on sustainable and smart mobility solutions in the Adriatic-Ionian area, the SMILE project specifically targets congested urban areas.

- SUSTOURISMO: Sustainable Tourism & Mobility Hand by Hand development
- SUSTOURISMO focuses specifically on the development of sustainable tourism and mobility solutions in the Adriatic-Ionian region. The project aims to enhance the quality and innovation of tourism offerings while promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices. By improving the connectivity and mobility options within the region, SUSTOURISMO aims to create a more sustainable and attractive tourism destination, while valorizing cultural heritage. - TRIBUTE: inTegRated and Innovative actions for sustainaBle Urban mobiliTy upgrade
- The TRIBUTE project focuses on integrated and innovative actions for sustainable urban mobility upgrades. The project aims to enhance urban mobility in the Adriatic-Ionian region by implementing sustainable transportation solutions and improving the overall quality of urban transportation systems.
- TRIBUTE had a very positive impact on the areas involved. Under its scope, the eight regions involved implemented living labs on sustainable urban mobility to share best practices and future views. The activities aimed also to have an impact on policymaking. Then, eight different pilot actions took place in the project, in which sustainable transport means were applied. (EN) | ADRIAMOVE shares a common objective with TRIBUTE in improving urban mobility and promoting sustainable transportation solutions. Both projects recognize the importance of creating efficient, low-carbon, and user-friendly urban mobility systems that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors.
- ADRIAMOVE is inspired by TRIBUTE pilot actions to develop new ones, in different regions of some covered by TRIBUTE. This will help to spread the knowledge acquired through the TRIBUTE project, looking forward to the upgrade and implementation of the same and other sustainable, electric transport means in other realities. The outcomes from the TRIBUTE project will be carefully analysed in the initial parts of ADRIAMOVE to develop a complexive good practices analysis, selecting the most relevant practices developed. - E-Parks: Environmental and Administrative knowledge Networks for a Better Tourist Attractiveness in Protected Natural Areas
- E-Parks project is focusing on the improvement of accessibility and mobility of people with special needs in national parks and natural areas by developing and updating existing infrastructure, while at the same time it promotes the cooperation and the creation of a network for stakeholders of the local economies by enabling partnerships at all levels and with all actors. The project is aiming at promoting the tourism potential of Protected Natural Areas in Apulia Region in Italy and Greece. (EN) | While ADRIAMOVE and E-Parks have different specific focuses, both projects share the goal of promoting sustainable mobility and tourism in their respective regions. They both aim to enhance accessibility, cooperation among stakeholders, and the overall attractiveness of the areas for visitors. UNIFG (Italy) has participated in E-Parks as a Lead partner and will transfer its main outcomes to ADRIAMOVE.

- #DynaMob 2.0: Dynamic MOBILITization 2.0
- In the scope of the programme Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro, the project #DynaMob 2.0 aims to promote and encourage the use of environmentally friendly forms of transport in the programme area, focusing on electric bike sharing. The regions involved in the project applied pilot actions directed to test the implementation of electric bike-sharing systems. These actions took place in urban areas intending to encourage citizens to use cleaner transport methods, looking for a change of mindset to reduce pollution and be more sustainable. (EN) | One of the strongest points of #DynaMob 2.0 is that seeks to engage actively local communities, transport operators, and relevant stakeholders in the development and implementation of innovative mobility strategies. The project aims to empower communities to actively participate in shaping their transportation systems and ensure that the solutions proposed are tailored to their specific needs and preferences. This is one of the main objectives of ADRIAMOVE.
- The Municipality of Budva has participated in the project as a partner, representing Montenegro. The municipality of Budva will add to the ADRIAMOVE project the lessons acquired through the #DynaMob 2.0 project, especially relevant for the implementation of ADRIAMOVE’s pilot action for the involvement of the target groups and stakeholders in the project. - HERMES - Heritage Rehabilitation as Multiplier cultural Empowerment within Social contest
- Hermes is an infrastructure project that aims to strengthen the synergy between public and private institutions to promote and enhance the common socio-cultural identity of Greece and Italy. Hermes focuses on 3 main themes: accessibility, creative industry and the and historical heritage, in order to develop a cross-border community identity and to produce a virtuous circle of cross-border cultural awareness and thus increase the sustainable cultural tourism offer. (EN) | Both projects ADRIAMOVE and HERMES recognize the importance of preserving and revitalizing cultural heritage as a means to empower communities, promote social inclusion, and stimulate economic growth. ADRIAMOVE's emphasis on sustainable urban transport aligns with HERMES' aim of creating sustainable development models by leveraging cultural heritage. The projects complement each other by exploring opportunities for integrating sustainable mobility solutions within heritage-rich areas, creating synergies between transportation infrastructure and cultural sites.
- The Municipality of Fasano as lead partner of both projects will be responsible of transferring the strongest aspects developed by HERMES. At the same time, the stakeholders involved in HERMES will be invited to ADRIAMOVE’s events, enriching the project in this way. (EN), EIT Urban Mobility
- IMPACTS - Inclusive Mobility: Public And Collaborative Trusted Spaces
- The European project involves different partners, aiming to create a human-centric public transport system that promotes passenger safety, encourages support for fellow travellers, and collects feedback to improve the services and urban environment. The project is deploying a socio-technical tool that connects passengers both online and offline and enables issue reporting in the urban environment, enhancing trust through a rating system. The tool uses real-time localisation algorithms, open transportation data, and minimal personal data collection. (EN) | IMPACTS and ADRIAMOVE follow the same path towards the integration of sustainable mobility systems. Both projects’ activities will foster the use of public transport in EU cities and communities, contributing to the delivery of better mobility services for citizens, higher levels of accessibility, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, and better use of urban space. More societal positive impacts will affect end-users, in terms of raised awareness, sense of belonging and perception of safety, and the wider community where sustainable mobility and connectivity will be put at the center.

The flagship aims to the development of an interconnected and integrated transportation system in the Adriatic-Ionian Region. The project focuses on enhancing intermodal transport systems and sustainable urban mobility, which directly support the objective of developing well-connected and efficient transport networks for passengers.
- By implementing pilot actions and improving multimodal services, ADRIAMOVE aims to create seamless and sustainable transport options, facilitating efficient movement of people in the different regions. - EUStrategyAdriaticIonianRegion ADRIAMOVE contributes to Pillar 4 the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM, flagship about Development of sustainable and thematic cultural routes/connecting cultural routes in EUSAIR. This flagship addresses the need for harmonized distribution of tourism flows through macro-regional territories using Cultural Routes as tool for the creation of innovative diversified tourism products; supporting the development of cycling, walking/hiking and sailing routes that would better connect all EUSAIR Cultural routes. The project aims to create innovative tourism products by developing cycling routes (among others) that better connect all EUSAIR Cultural routes. By addressing the challenge of locally managed routes and promoting regional connectivity, ADRIAMOVE contributes to the creation of a cohesive and sustainable tourism destination within the EUSAIR macro-region.

- Other ADRIAMOVE aligns with the EU Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy putting European transport on track for the future (COM(2020)789 final), presented by the European Commission, as the foundation for the next years’ EU transport system in terms of green transformation in line with the European Green Deal. ADRIAMOVE contributes to this European Strategy by promoting intermodal transport systems and sustainable multimodal mobility in the Adriatic-Ionian region. The project contributes to key milestones for a smart and sustainable future of the Strategy; the target of 30 million zero-emission cars on European roads and achieving climate neutrality in 100 European cities by 2030. By 2050, the project supports the nearly all cars, vans, buses as well as new heavy-duty vehicles will be zero-emissions, and establishing a fully operational, multimodal Trans-European Transport Network for sustainable and smart transport.
