Relevant linked projects:
- PA.CON (EN) | The synergy of the PA.CON II project is mostly reflected in the continuation of the project and collaboration through the previous PA.CON project. PA.CON, in 2018, for the first time gathered all relevant partners from the CBC region whose goal was to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in the target region, by using and activating unused natural resources and goods related to ornitho-fauna. Three natural goods were improved in MoN, CoT and Skadar lake and 163 target groups representatives were educated and results achieved were above targeted goals which is a result of successful cooperation between partners. PA.CON was completed during January 2023 and the project partners have maintained communication and soon after began analysing previous project and creating a new project proposal in order to upgrade the existing one and create new tourist content.
- Analysing PA.CON project, strengths and weaknesses of the project were identified, as well as any threats and opportunities for the future projects, an active communication between project teams was established in which they shared their knowledge, experiences and best practices to avoid mistakes and used opportunities. Also, the processes around information exchange during project execution were standardised as well for project activities, making reports towards contracted authorities and organisation of different events.
- The synergy of PA.CON II is reflected in the integration of achieved results from the previous project through using deliverables, technology and knowledge, as well as in the engagement of identical partners and project teams. So, the goal of the PA.CON II project is to directly contribute to the further development of the quality and significance of sustainable tourism in the function of the economic development of the program area, by introducing the new and increasing the competitiveness of existing touristic sites related to bird-watching in the target region of HR, BIH, ME. (EN), Bird-watching Centre (EN) | The project ˝Bird-watching Centre˝ is co-funded in the framework of Operational program Regional competitiveness 2007 – 2013. The project execution lasted from 2014 to 2012 and with a total value of 1.222.904,95 EUR. Project partners were the Tourist community of Municipality of NIjemci and the Public institution for management of protected natural values in Vukovarsko-srijemska county.
- The project developed based on Analysis conducted through the ERSPA project (program Phare 2006) which indicated a great interest of tourists for specific tourist products and activities, as an example of such activity is bird-watching and Municipality of Nijemci possesses natural potential for development of such type of tourism.
- The main goal of the project was the growth of active tourism oriented towards small and medium enterprises and new job openings in Municipality of Nijemci and Vukovarsko-srijemska county while specific goals were improvement of public tourist infrastructure with a goal of development and promotion of new tourist products in VSŽ such as Bird-watching centre and promoting new destination for bird-watching on the home and foreign tourist market. (EN), HORIS – Horse Ride in Srijem (EN) | Project ˝HORIS – Horse Ride in Srijem˝ was approved in the framework of Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia – Serbia 2014 – 2020 with total value of 1.417.632.24EUR. the project partners were Municipality of Nijemci, Horse Breeding Association ˝Vranac˝ from Donje Novo Selo (CRO), Municipality of Ruma (SRB), Secondary School Food and Agriculture ˝Stevan Petrović-Brile˝, Ruma (SRB), Horse Breeding Association Srem, Sremska Mitrovica (SRB).
