Overall objective: To improve the local social protection services on wider area of the municipality of Bijelo Polje and municipality Novi Pazar in line with the needs of beneficiaries and local communities Specific objective: To improve the deinstitutionalization of PI Home for Elderly in Bijelo Polje and Gerontology Centre in Novi Pazar through establishment of 1st TeleCare social service in Montenegro and Serbia Project activities: 1. Establishing the TeleCare departments in PI Home for Elderly in Bijelo Polje and in Gerontology Centre in Novi Pazar 1.1 Preparatory activities 1.2 Equipping department 1.3 Technical communication devices, medical equipment and assistive tools purchase for improving level of independency in everyday activities of elderly people on wider area of the municipality of Bijelo Polje and wider area municipality Novi Pazar 1.4 Equipment set up and installation Activity 2. Training of staff 2.1. Creating a team for technical assistance in TeleCare social services 2.2. Training of staff in Technical communication devices use 3. Training and educating elderly how to use technical communication devices, medical equipment and assistive tools 3.1. Group work with the elderly on TeleCare kit devices use in everyday life 3.2. Individual work on field and training of the elderly in effective use of TeleCare kit devices in order to enhance their independence and quality of life 4. Establishing of 24 -hours TeleCare services 4.1 Preparatory activities 4.2 “Good morning, Good night” daily care service 4.3 SOS field visits 5. Public promotion of the project 5.1. Active promotion through local media in order to raise awareness on Telecare 5.2. Creating and promotion documentary video material about enhancement in everyday life of elderly with TeleCare social services

Expected Results (EN):

Result 1 - The TeleCare departments in Home for Elderly in Bijelo Polje and in Gerontology Centre in Novi Pazar established and equipped. Result 2 - The TeleCare team in Bijelo Polje-Novi Pazar created and trained. Result 3- The elderly beneficiaries trained and educated how to use TeleCare kit devices. Result 4 - 24 -hours TeleCare services established. Result 5 -The public promotion prepared and implemented.

• Establishing the TeleCare departments in PI Home for Elderly in Bijelo Polje and in Gerontology Centre in Novi Pazar • Procurement of equipment for departments • Enhanced capacities of staff members in departments through trainings • Trainings for social care service consumers • Establishing of 24 -hours TeleCare services
