Contribution to wider strategies and policies:
- EUStrategyAdriaticIonianRegion The EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, an instrument for promoting territorial social cohesion to reduce social discrepancies in the region and support is provided for the promotion of good neighborly relations. The EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region has been taken into account in defining our common territorial challenges and opportunities. Through the project, the two towns of Timișoara and Novi Becej will develop long-term collaborative relationships in the social field, promote common values, improve connectivity and support good neighborly relations in the community. The project comes to respond to the major concerns of the two states such as health, active aging thus increasing social cohesion at the regional level. Also, the project focuses on increased communication as a transversal aspect between the two localities and the use of communication as a tool to sensitize the population regarding elements of sustainable sustainability, environmental aspects, climate change, equal opportunities, non-discrimination etc
- EUStrategyDanubeRegion The EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) has been taken into account in defining our common territorial challenges and opportunities. Both Romania and Serbia are among the countries targeted by this strategy. The objective of the EUSDR is to organize cooperation between countries or territories by mobilizing local and regional actors to align policies and funding and to identify common problems, solutions and actions. Our project is consistent with part of the EUSDR actions that correspond to Priority Area 9 "Investment in people and capacities" and Priority Area 10 "Capacity and institutional cooperation", actions that contribute to combating poverty and promoting social inclusion for all, improving institutional capacities for to provide high quality public services and facilitate administrative cooperation of communities living in border regions. The project investments made for the rehabilitation of buildings with the aim of using renewable energy, correspond to Priority Area 2 "Sustainable energy" of the strategy, leading to the realization of the action related to energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in buildings and heating systems, including central heating and cooling and combined heat and power plants. Our project activities will bring added value to cross-border cooperation and the development of territorial, economic and social cohesion.
- EuropeanGreenDeal Investment activity in the renovation and rehabilitation of buildings will bring benefits such as: significant savings through lower costs paid for energy and repairs, the superior quality of the building, a high degree of comfort. To reduce the impact on the environment and achieve green energy goals, the investment will benefit from a photovoltaic panel system, a solar panel system and the heat pump. The photovoltaic panel system will provide clean and non-polluting electricity for the building's use, thus reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and helping to protect the environment, being an excellent way to generate green and clean energy with no harmful emissions, while helping to reduce costs with electricity. The heat pump used together with the solar panel systems for the warm preparation of the household and photovoltaic panels will be the most sustainable solution for the thermal preparation, representing an ideal solution for reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Also for the new developed services in the project electrical scooter and hybrid patient transport car will be purchsed.
- TerritorialAgenda2030 Our project is in line with the Territorial Agenda 2030 "A future for all territories". The territorial agenda 2030 "A future for all territories" has as its general objective A JUST EUROPE, with priorities set for the purpose of social and territorial cohesion, favoring an inclusive, sustainable and integrated development of the territories; Our cross-border region has common challenges such as the elimination of disparities in accessibility to health care services and the low distribution of infrastructure and medical equipment, requiring the cooperation and collaboration of partners through the application of joint measures in order to strengthen social prosperity. Through the project and the specific activities carried out, the partners can collaborate in finding common solutions to existing territorial challenges in the medical and social fields. The common potential is also present in the cross-border region, and the partners can use it in the exchange of experience, in the local consultative groups held within the project. The aim is to enable equal opportunities for citizens, wherever they are, to make the most of their territorial potential, increasing the well-being of citizens and their quality of life. Regarding the approach to the Romania-Serbia cross-border region, we must take into account the fact that cohesion at the EU's external border is crucial, because economic and social disparities and differences have important consequences. The project aims to reduce these disparities and ensure a harmonized social development in the area, thus leading to cross-border territorial cohesion and the fulfillment of the priorities of the 2030 Territorial Agenda.
