Contribution to wider strategies and policies:
- EUStrategyDanubeRegion The UNIV.E.R-U+VI project is consistent with the EU Strategy for the Danube Region Action Plan.
- Romania and Ukraine are part of the Danube region, which covers EU Member States and non-EU Member States .
- According to Priority Area 9 "Investing in People and Skills" is focusing on policies and actions in the fields of education and training, labour market and marginalised communities. By investing in people and promoting human capital, the Danube Region can grow in a smart and inclusive way. - Other The roadmap for European integration of Ukraine in the fields of education and science until 2027, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine through Order No. 1501 dated December 11, 2023.
- The roadmap has been developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine using the Results-Based Management (RBM) methodology. It involves engaging a broad range of stakeholders to shape the vision, define goals and tasks, and harmonize sectoral policies and legislation in the fields of education and science with European standards on the path to preparing for negotiations and full membership of Ukraine in the European Union.

- Other The Eastern Partnership (EaP)
- "Educational University Romanian-Ukrainian Cross-Border Cooperation plus Virtual and Inclusive environment - UNIV.E.R-U+VI" Project will directly address the priorities of the Eastern Partnership (EaP): to deepen and strengthen relations between the European Union and its six Eastern neighbors: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The project will therefore establish premises for collaboration among Ukraine and Romania. Thus, UNIV.E.R-U+VI project’s activities will support both the bilateral as well as the multilateral tracks of the Eastern Partnership.
- Engagement with civil society is a key element of the Eastern Partnership. The realization of the project will establish an active cooperative model for capacity building and training, in which civil society will be at its core to engage all stakeholders in the design and promotion of cross-border cooperation that mutually benefit all of the countries and target groups. Regional cooperation programmes that support the multilateral dimension of the Eastern Partnership. They also address common challenges and trans-boundary issues in educational sphere.

- "Educational University Romanian-Ukrainian Cross-Border Cooperation plus Virtual and Inclusive environment - UNIV.E.R-U+VI" project will contribute to the implementation of the Europe2020 through activities that undergo the priorities related to competitive economy with higher employment. The Europe 2020 strategy is about delivering growth that is: smart, through more effective investments in education, research and innovation; and inclusive - with a strong emphasis on job creation and poverty reduction. The strategy is focused on five ambitious goals in the areas of employment, innovation, education, poverty reduction and climate/energy. UNIV.E.R-U+VI Project will directly influence the achievement of two of these priorities: education and innovation.
