Projekt rozvíjí společné výzkumné kapacity v oblasti aplikovaného výzkumu, zaměřuje se na vývoj zkušebního prototypu nejmodernějšího exoskeletu dolní končetiny pro rehabilitační účely s využitím inovací v designu, konstrukčních technologiích, 3D tisku a brain-computer interface (převodu mozkových signálů do pohybu končetin). Projekt zároveň posiluje společné výzkumné kapacity technologického transferu v rehabilitačních a protetických oborech. Projekt bude realizovat konsorcium partnerů prostřednictvím multidisciplinárního výzkumného týmu. Partneři budou spolupracovat na všech aktivitách, budou si sdílet výzkumné know-how a využívat společné výzkumné kapacity v souladu s prioritami RIS3 a Hightech Agendy. Jedná se o výzkumné týmy THD Deggendorf/Fakulta zdravotnických studií, Fakulta designu a umění Ladislava Sutnara, Fakulta aplikovaných věd a Fakulta strojní/RTI. Do projektu bude zapojeno také 5 asociovaných partnerů z praxe. Projekt má silný inovační potenciál a jeho výstupy mohou najít uplatnění v aplikační sféře u malých a středních podniků zaměřených na rehabilitaci a protetiku v česko-bavorském regionu. Realizace je naplánována na 36 měsíců.

The project develops collaborative research capabilities in the field of applied research, focusing on the development of a state-of-the-art lower limb exoskeleton prototype for rehabilitation purposes using innovations in design, construction technologies, 3D printing and brain-computer interface (conversion of brain signals into limb movement). The project also strengthens joint research capacity for technology transfer in the rehabilitation and prosthetic fields (lower limb trauma patients, stroke patients, etc.). The project will be implemented by a consortium of partners through a multidisciplinary research team. The partners will collaborate on all activities, share research know-how and use common research capacities in line with RIS3 and High-Tech Agenda priorities. These are the research teams of THD Deggendorf/TC Cham, GC Bad Kötzting, TC Hutthurm and ZČU in Pilsen (Faculty of Health Studies, Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering/RTI. The project will also involve 5 associated partners from practice, which will enable testing of the prototype exoskeleton on a selected group of patients. The project has a strong innovative potential, and its outputs may find application in the application sphere of small and medium-sized enterprises focused on rehabilitation and prosthetics in the Czech-Bavarian region. The project implementation is planned for 36 months.

Das Projekt entwickelt kooperative Forschungskapazitäten im Bereich der angewandten Forschung und konzentriert sich auf die Entwicklung eines hochmodernen Prototyps eines Exoskeletts für die unteren Gliedmaßen zu Rehabilitationszwecken unter Verwendung von Innovationen in den Bereichen Design, Konstruktionstechnologien, 3D-Druck und Gehirn-Computer-Schnittstelle (Umwandlung von Gehirnsignalen in Bewegungen der Gliedmaßen). Das Projekt stärkt auch die gemeinsamen Forschungskapazitäten für den Technologietransfer in den Bereichen Rehabilitation und Prothesen. Das Projekt wird von einem Konsortium von Partnern durch ein multidisziplinäres Forschungsteam durchgeführt. Die Partner werden bei allen Aktivitäten zusammenarbeiten, Forschungs-Know-how austauschen und gemeinsame Forschungskapazitäten im Einklang mit den Prioritäten von RIS3 und der Hightech-Agenda nutzen. Es handelt sich um die ForschungsteamsTHD Deggendorf/TC Cham,TC Bad Kötzting,TC Hutthurm und ZČU in Pilsen-Fakultät für Gesundheitswissenschaften,Fakultät für Design und Kunst Ladislav Sutnar,Fakultät für angewandte Wissenschaften und Fakultät für Ingenieurwissenschaften/RTI. An dem Projekt werden auch 5 assoziierte Partner aus der Praxis beteiligt sein. Das Projekt hat ein starkes innovatives Potenzial und seine Ergebnisse können im Anwendungsbereich kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen mit Schwerpunkt auf Rehabilitation und Prothetik in der tschechisch-bayerischen Region Anwendung finden. Die Umsetzung dauert 36 Monate.

Projekt vývoje inovativního exoskeletu pro dolní končetiny dosáhl v první fázi realizace slibného pokroku. Během sledovaného období byly definováním klíčových konceptů a systémů položeny základy pro další vývoj. Cílem bylo položit pevné základy pro nadcházející fáze projektu a tento krok byl úspěšně dokončen. Dosažené cíle a výstupy 1. Definice inteligentního řídicího systému Významným krokem vpřed v této fázi byl vývoj koncepce inteligentního řídicího systému. Tento systém je založen na integraci moderních technologií, včetně rozhraní mozek-počítač (BCI), pro přesné ovládání pohybů dolních končetin. Počáteční návrhy řídicího systému byly úspěšně vyvinuty a vyladěny. 2. Vývoj mechanické a elektronické koncepce Tým definoval základní koncepty mechaniky a elektroniky exoskeletu. Mezi ně patří např: - Robustní, ale lehká konstrukce pro optimální pohyblivost a pohodlí při nošení. - Integrace moderních senzorů a aktuátorů, které umožňují přesné a citlivé ovládání. - Mechanické komponenty, které jsou přizpůsobeny požadavkům cílové skupiny a podporují používání exoskeletu v každodenním životě. 3. Koncepce rozhraní mozek-počítač (BCI) Zavedení systému BCI je inovativní součástí projektu. Koncepce tohoto systému byla úspěšně vytvořena a definována, včetně umístění elektrod, metod zpracování a integrace rozhraní s exoskeletem. To představuje rozhodující krok k uživatelsky přívětivému a účinnému ovládání. 4. Sloučení multidisciplinárních přístupů V této fázi se podařilo spojit různé obory - mechaniku, elektroniku, řídicí systémy a rehabilitaci. To umožnilo koordinovat koncepty na mezioborovém základě a zajistit, aby všechny komponenty spolu bez problémů ladily. Přidaná hodnota spolupráce Spolupráce mezi německými a českými partnery projektu se v této rané fázi ukázala jako mimořádně efektivní. Spojením odborných znalostí z různých oborů a zemí se projektovému týmu podařilo vyvinout inovativní řešení a zajistit, aby koncepty byly orientované na praxi a vědecky podložené. Mezi přínosy spolupráce patří - Efektivní sdílení znalostí: partnerské instituce spojily své odborné znalosti, což zvýšilo kvalitu a rychlost vývoje koncepcí. - Integrace potřeb uživatelů: Úzká spolupráce s přidruženými partnery a společný výzkum pomohly zajistit, aby plánovaná řešení byla v souladu s požadavky budoucích uživatelů. Klíčové úspěchy pro širokou veřejnost - Pokročilá technologie: Kombinace BCI a inteligentních řídicích systémů vytváří základ pro nejmodernější exoskelet. - Návrh zaměřený na uživatele: Definované koncepty zajišťují, že konečný výrobek je uživatelsky přívětivý, bezpečný a účinný. - Mezinárodní spolupráce: Projekt ukazuje, jak může přeshraniční spolupráce vést k průkopnickým technologiím. Shrnutí První fáze realizace projektu položila důležité základy. Definované koncepty inteligentního řídicího systému, mechaniky, elektroniky a BCI položily základ pro další fázi vývoje. Projektový tým prokázal, že mezioborová a mezinárodní spolupráce je pro úspěch takto složitých projektů nezbytná. Díky těmto výsledkům může projekt s důvěrou očekávat další fázi vývoje a možnost realizace definovaných konceptů v prototypech.

The project for the development of innovative exoskeletons for the lower limbs has made promising progress in the first phase of implementation. During the reporting period, the foundations for further development were laid by defining key concepts and systems. The aim was to lay a solid foundation for the upcoming phases of the project and this step was successfully completed. Achieved objectives and outputs 1. Definition of intelligent control system The development of the intelligent control system concept was an important step forward at this stage. This system is based on the integration of modern technologies, including the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), for precise control of lower limb movements. Initial control system designs have been successfully developed and tuned. 2. Development of mechanical and electronic concepts The team defined the basic concepts of exoskeleton mechanics and electronics. These include, for example: - Robust yet lightweight construction for optimal mobility and wearing comfort. - Integration of modern sensors and actuators that enable precise and responsive control. Mechanical components that are tailored to the requirements of the target group and support the use of exoskeletons in everyday life. 3. Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Concept The introduction of the BCI system is an innovative part of the project. The concept of this system has been successfully created and defined, including the placement of electrodes, methods of processing and integration of the interface with the exoskeleton. This is a decisive step towards user-friendly and efficient operation. 4. Merging multidisciplinary approaches At this stage, we managed to combine various disciplines - mechanics, electronics, control systems and rehabilitation. This made it possible to coordinate concepts on an interdisciplinary basis and ensure that all components work seamlessly together. Added value of cooperation Cooperation between German and Czech project partners proved to be extremely effective at this early stage. By bringing together expertise from different disciplines and countries, the project team has managed to develop innovative solutions and ensure that concepts are practice-oriented and science-based. Benefits of cooperation include: - Effective knowledge sharing: partner institutions pooled their expertise, increasing the quality and speed of concept development. Integration of user needs: Close cooperation with associated partners and joint research have helped to ensure that the planned solutions are in line with the requirements of future users. Das Projekt zur Entwicklung eines innovativen Exoskeletts für die unteren Gliedmaßen hat in der ersten Phase der Implementierung vielversprechende Fortschritte gemacht. Während der Berichtsperiode wurden die Grundlagen für die weitere Entwicklung geschaffen, indem wesentliche Konzepte und Systeme definiert wurden. Ziel war es, eine solide Basis für die kommenden Projektphasen zu legen, und dieser Schritt wurde erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Erreichte Ziele und Outputs 1. Definition des intelligenten Steuerungssystems Ein wesentlicher Fortschritt in dieser Phase war die Entwicklung des Konzepts für das intelligente Steuerungssystem. Dieses System basiert auf der Integration moderner Technologien, einschließlich eines Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI), um die Bewegungen der unteren Gliedmaßen präzise zu steuern. Die ersten Entwürfe des Steuerungssystems wurden erfolgreich entwickelt und abgestimmt. 2. Entwicklung der mechanischen und elektronischen Konzepte Das Team hat die Grundkonzepte für die Mechanik und Elektronik des Exoskeletts definiert. Gemeinsame Projekte der TH Deggendorf und der ZČU in Pilsen (DE), Společné projekty TH Deggendorf a ZČU v Plzni (CS) | Die THD hat bereits in der Vergangenheit im Verbund mit der WBU Pilsen an mehreren verschiedenen EU Projekten zur Erhöhung der Mobilität und Sicherheit erfolgreich gearbeitet. Die THD hat jahrelange Erfahrung bei der Durchführung von wissenschaftlichen Projekten und fachliche Kompetenz auf dem Gebiet Maschinenbau, Elektromobilität, Robotik, Mechatronik und Gesundheit. Sie hat Zugriff auf wissenschaftliches Personal und Studenten der THD und bietet eine schnelle Integration von neuen Mitarbeitern. Das haben wir immer bei der Projektdurchführung grenzübergreifend genutzt. Die Projektergebnisse abgeschlossener Arbeiten werden im Rahmen neuer Projekte berücksichtigt. Die gemischten grenzüberschreitenden Projektteams boten viele Vorteile. Die wissenschaftliche Kompetenz und das personelle Potenzial stand dabei immer im Vordergrund. Die Schwerpunkte waren das gegenseitige Kennenlernen des Nachbarlandes, der wissenschaftliche und studentische Austausch, der Abbau von Vorurteilen und das Arbeiten in internationalen Projektteams. Die Einbindung von Firmen und deren professionelle Erfahrungen auf dem technischen Gebiet wurden gerne genutzt. THD und UWB arbeiten langfristig an einer studentischen multidisziplinären Konstruktion, Design und Projekt-Design unter der Leitung von Prof. Ing. Stanislav Hosnedl, PhD.

Proj.-Nr. 339 Forschungsinnovationen in der Prothetik (DE), THD úspěšně v minulosti pracovala společně se Západočeskou univerzitou v Plzni v několika různých projektech EU pro zvýšení mobility a bezpečnosti. THD má dlouholeté zkušenosti při řešení vědeckých projektů a odborných znalostí v oblasti strojírenství, elektromobility, robotiky, mechatroniky a zdravotnictví. THD poskytuje rychlou integraci nových pracovníků a studentů do aktuálních rozvojových potřeb. Toto bylo vždy při realizaci projektů využíváno. Výsledky a zkušenosti z již ukončených projektů budou v novém projektu zohledněny. Smíšené přeshraniční projektové týmy měly mnoho výhod. Vědecká kompetentnost a lidský potenciál stál vždy v na prvním místě. Hlavní body byly - vzájemné poznání sousedních zemi, výměny vědeckých a studentských zkušeností, odstranění předsudků a možnost pracovat v mezinárodních projektových týmech. Napojení firem a využívání jejich profesionálních zkušenosti v technické oblasti při konstrukci a výrobě prototypů byly často používány. THD a ZČU společně také dlouhodobě spolupracují na projektu Interdisciplinární studentské konstrukční a designérské projekty Desing+ pod vedením prof. Ing. Stanislava Hosnedla, CSc.
