- ROHU72 (EN) | BRACC continues and complements ADIVEST and DKMT institutional, technical, financial and strategic efforts and strong partnership to sustain ROHU72 project ( large scale, still under implementation project until November 2023, total project budget of € 2 682 782.50 - targeting Interreg RO-HU programme result - R 5/b Quality of the joint risk management - measurable by the quality increase of the joint risk management, expressed in the rate of preparedness as defined by partnership actions and capacities, including: status, condition of their equipment tools and vehicles for disaster and risk prevention actions; capacity and preparedness to inform and mobilize the population in case of emergency situations: availability and implementation of risk and disaster management plans and protocols). ROHU72 (supported also by the other partners - Arad and Timis County Councils and VFAM) proposed project intervention was justified by the need of overcoming joint risks as COVID19 pandemic situation, earthquake risk (Banloc tectonic area), floods ( Bega, Timis, Mures), vegetation fires, highway and railway accidents, but not only. ROHU72 foreseen activities and results will improve the quality of joint risk management and will safeguard the life of 770.906 citizens from the 3 partner counties. The proposed equipment procurement, know how transfer, exchange of best practices, workshops, study visits, joint tactical applications, joint trainings, joint educational activities, performed with integration of EU standards will stimulate long term sustainable development. To the common threat it is more productive to develop a common response strategy and to have professionals, volunteers and the general population trained and prepared to act together and in a coherent manner. Undoubtedly this project will strengthen cross - border field cooperation and intervention performance. (EN), RORS218 (EN) | During April 2022 - December 2023, a partnership coordinated by ADIVEST (Lead Beneficiary), implements the project Romanian – Serbian Cross-Border Risk Monitoring in case of Emergency Situations, abbreviated CBRM, EMS CODE – RORS218. The partnership includes: "Banat" Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Timiș County (Beneficiary 2), Timiș County Gendarmerie Inspectorate (Beneficiary 3), City of Zrenjanin (Beneficiary 4) and Kikinda City (Beneficiary 5).
- The project benefits from total eligible financing of 1,238,903.82 EURO, of which 1,053,068.23 EURO is non-refundable financing through the IPA II financial instrument, within Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme 2014-2020. Project partners jointly agreed and developed a web platform hosted by ADIVEST in order to support the publicity of the project and the emergency situations and civil protection cross-border info-cooperation between project partners during and after project implementation, as specialized and dedicated tool for field networking, CB emergency situations risks monitoring and for project sustainability. The RORS218 platform back-office and cloud can be used also by BRACC project, being a TIC tool allowing present and future users to inform each other regarding the means, equipment and human resources available and needs connected with risk types; to communicate and coordinate joint actions for prevention and/or intervention in emergency situations - as permanent dedicated instrument for CB cooperation and coordination; to post, store and develop joint relevant field data / project cooperation ideas; to bring in new users, to extend the field partnerships. As already stated, this platform will be developed and integrated as digital tool to promote also BRACC and financing authorities / programme key messages.
- (EN), 2030 SDA (EN) | BRACC shall bolster national efforts in achieving disaster resilience targets of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda including: building the resilience of the poor and their exposure to risks (target 1.5), strengthening capacities for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks (3.d), ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning (4), facilitate sustainable infrastructure development (9.a), increasing the number of cities and communities implementing integrated policies in line with Sendai Framework (11.5), improving education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation and impact reduction (13.3).
- Moreover, project realized activities shall enhance cross-border and international cooperation, coordination of activities of international protection and rescue forces within the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
