- SocialTech4EU
- https://www.ensie.org/projects/socialtech4eu (EN) | SocialTech4EU is the largest support and capacity building programme in Europe for social enterprises. The EU-funded project aims at strengthening the resilience and innovation capacity, competitiveness, and sustainability of social economy ecosystems and of start-ups and SMEs of the social economy.
- The project aims to strengthen the resilience and innovation capacity, competitiveness, and sustainability of social economy ecosystems, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the social economy. This is achieved through providing support in the form of grants, vouchers, and professional services. New digital and green business models facilitated by emerging technologies are at the core of this project, along with support for agile forms of public-private partnerships and new forms of cooperation between the private and public sectors within and across different value chains and territories, to accelerate the delivery of innovative solutions. DanubeCrafts project will leverage all the experience and materials from this project, while also serving as a support mechanism for accessing funds for developing a small business and assisting in promoting winning ideas in connection with revitalizing traditional crafts through innovative tourism (A2.3), in setting the infrastructure and organizational framework for physical traditional crafts and thematic tourism centers (A2.1) and trainings for the preservation & development of traditional crafts and thematic tourism services in small regional communities (A2.2). The Culinary Trail will leverage culinary heritage as an opportunity to revitalize and diversify tourism, to promote local economic development, create employment opportunities, and encourage frugal and social innovation. It will involve minorities, as well as other marginalized groups facing disadvantages based on age, gender, disabilities, etc. Through this, the Culinary Trail will enable the Danube Region to capitalize on its vibrant and diverse ethnic landscape, rich and complex history, and cultural traditions.
- The Culinary Trail will improve interconnection and cooperation between tourist destinations, services, products, and stakeholders, encourage short value chains, and promote quality products from the primary sector in the Danube Region. DanubeCrafts will utilize the results of this project as they develop, but it can also be a project with whom we can carry on capitalization activities for the benefit of both projects.

- (EN), Project "DANURB"
- https://www.interreg-danube.eu/approved-projects/danurb (EN) | The main goal of the project was to create a comprehensive spatio-cultural network, a “Danube Сultural Promenade” connecting all communities along the river, unifying these into one tourism destination brand, offering thematic routes and developing possibilities that can increase the number of visitors and can prolong their stay in the region. Project partners – relevant universities, research and development centres, regional municipalities, cultural NGOs, tourism boards and professional market based agencies - created a network and common platform to work along a sustainable cultural and tourism strategy, proving that a common Danube urban brand can bring social and economic benefits at once. Very important in this process was that international knowledge and practice were implemented in local conditions.
- DanubeCrafts project includes in its specific objectives topics similar to DANURB and will make use of its results mainly in developing a Danube macro-regional strategy for the protection of traditional crafts and thematic tourism (A1.2), unveiling potential itineraries for the traditional crafts route (A2.5) and developing a smartphone application linked to an informatics platform, hosting a Digital Service Tool for traditional crafts and thematic tourism (A3.1).

- (EN) | Main results of INSiGHTS were: improved participatory governance frameworks tackling responsible green tourism development, able to support bottom-up networks of tourism providers and generation of quality-driven green tourism packages, which will attract more eco-conscious visitors. Improving the environmental attitude of all players within the complex tourism ecosystem will lead to a better balance between protection and sustainable exploitation of local resources, reduce the ecological footprint of destinations and also contribute considerably to sustainable socio-economic development for the benefit of local communities.
- The main local outcomes, 8 integrated sustainable tourism strategies were developed by the partner regions on the basis of the common Guidelines which were adaptable all across the Danube-region. The Comprehensive Model, co-created via a set of innovative exchange sessions, offered novel solutions along the 3 Thematic Pillars of INSiGHTS, such as (1) integrated tourism management schemes, (2) coordinated tourism supply development linked to greenways, (3) promotion of healthy & eco-conscious lifestyle.
