Contribution to wider strategies and policies:

  • EuropeanGreenDeal The EU Green Deal policies aim at accelerating the shift to sustainable smart mobility by "putting users first and providing them with more affordable, accessible, healthier and cleaner alternatives". CO-MOVE focuses on centrality of citizens to encrease accessibility for everyone, and relies on digitalization as enabler for the development, testing and implementation of innovative and inclusive solutions.
  • TerritorialAgenda2030 The Territorial Agenda 2030 mentions, in its territoral priorities for Europe, the need for a sustainable digital and physical connectivity of places. The agenda invites mobility (and spatial) planners to "explore new socially and environmentally progressive models for local and regional mobility-as-a-service and to cooperate on multimodal and environmentally friendly accessibility". CO-MOVE develops socially inclusive and integrated mobility solutions, in line with this approach.
  • EUStrategyDanubeRegion CO-MOVE activities and outputs can contribute to the EUSDR Pillar 1 "connect the region", especially Priority Area 1b Rail-Road-Air Mobility, target VI - Support safe and sustainable transport and mobility in the Danube Region.
  • The project will demonstrate the important role of flexible and shared mobility options integrating the existing mobility networks, also through the pilot activities taking place in the Heart of Slovenia (SI) and in the Nyíregyháza area (HU).
  • EUStrategyAdriaticIonianRegion CO-MOVE approach is in line with the EUSAIR strategy Pillar 2 "Connecting the region", with particular focus on the specific objective "develop reliable transport networks and intermodal connections with the hinterland, both for freight and passengers", and the related topic "intermodal connections to the hinterland".The project will demonstrate the important role of flexible and shared mobility options integrating the existing mobility networks, also through the pilot activities taking place in the Alpago-Zoldo area (IT) and in the Heart of Slovenia (SI).
  • EUStrategyAlpineRegion CO-MOVE contributes to EUSALP AG4 Mobility Priority 4 "Smart and sustainable passenger transport (local, regional and cross-border mobility)", by improving public transport and smart mobility services in the Alpine Region with a special focus on on-demand, shared and pooling solutions, making use of digital innovation and adapting to changing lifestyles. The project will demonstrate the important role of flexible and shared mobility options integrating the existing mobility networks, also through the pilot activities taking place in the Alpago-Zoldo area (IT) and in the Heart of Slovenia (SI).
  • Other The project is guided also by the EU Cohesion Policy Goals in Peripheral Regions and the following regional and local policies: Alpine Convention, Italian National Strategy for Inner Areas (SNAI), Slovenia’s Long-term Climate Strategy 2050, Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) and County City Sustainable Urban Development Strategy 2021-2027 of Nyíregyháza.
