Description (EN):

The exhibition is dedicated to the German and Polish history of Pomerania, a country, which is located at the eastern edge of the Holy Roman Empire, and which was the western part of the kingdom. The exhibition documents political, economical and cultural circumstances. Topics like the Christianisation of Pomerania, fief dependency on Poland, emperor, Denmark and Brandenburg will be described as well as political alliances, trade and cultural contacts. Original vellum certificates, maps and old printings will be on display in Kraków, Greifswald and Szczecin.

Stand: 04.09.2014 Die Ausstellung ist der deutschen und polnischen Geschichte von Pommern gewidmet, einem Land, das am östlichen Rand des Heiligen Römischen Reiches gelegen und das westliche Gebiet des Königsreiches war. Die Ausstellung dokumentiert politische, wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Verhältnisse. Es wurden solche Themen, wie Christianisierung von Pommern, Lehnabhängigkeit von Polen, Kaiser, Dänemark und Brandenburg sowie politische Bündnisse, Handel und kulturelle Kontakte dargestellt. Dazu wurden u.a. originale Pergamenturkunden, Landkarten und alte Drucksachen bereitgestellt. Die Ausstellungen wurden 2012 in Kraków und Szczecin sowie in 2013 in Greifswald gezeigt. Das Projekt wurde beendet.
