In the framework of the project two permanent exhibitions will be established. The golden century of Pomerania – art at the court of the Pomeranian dukes in the 16th and 17th century (Szczecin) and the Pomeranian history from the 17th to the 19th century (Greifswald), as well as publications accompanying these exhibitions, and a respective audio tour system.

Achievements (DE):

Stand: 15.07.2014 Im Rahmen des Projektes entstanden zwei ständige Ausstellungen: Das goldene Jahrhundert Pommerns – Kunst am Hofe der pommerschen Herzöge im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert (Stettin) und die Geschichte Pommerns vom 17. zum 19. Jahrhundert (Greifswald), sowie die diese Ausstellungen begleitenden Publikationen, wie auch ein entsprechendes Audioführungssystem. Das Projekt legte einen besonderen Schwerpunkt auf museumspädagogische und popularisierende Maßnahmen zu Aspekten beider Ausstellungen. Zu den wichtigsten Aktivitäten hierzu zählten moderne Kommunikationslösungen, die Schaffung spezialisierter Besucherleitsysteme durch die Ausstellungen, die sich an spezielle Besuchergruppen wenden, wie auch die Schaffung einer Ausstellung, die den Sichtweisen und Erfahrungen heutiger Besucher gerecht wird. Die Verwirklichung des Projektes war eine einmalige Chance zur Werbung für das pommersche Kulturerbe, als Element der Schaffung einer regionalen Identität. Gleichermaßen erlauben die weltweite Bedeutung der ausgestellten Exponate, wie auch die hier vorgestellten Themenkreise die Schaffung eines Pommernbildes in der Welt, als einer Region, in der durch gemeinsame Reflexion über die Geschichte, durch gemeinsame Erhaltung des Kulturerbes die Grundlage eines grenzüberschreitenden Dialoges geschaffen wird. Beide Partner haben die Ausstellungen bereits installiert und laden interessierte Bürger der Region und Touristen zu einem Besuch ein. Das Projekt wurde im August 2013 abgeschlossen.
