Description (EN):

The Secondary Economic School in Sombor aims to implement HACCP standards in education through a mirror project implemented together with Júlia Bányai Secondary Technical School specialized in Commerce and Catering. The EU grant is used to equip and modernize the school’s section for cooking and restaurant services, to improve teachers’ competence and to facilitate cooperation with the Hungarian partner. Co-operation with the cross-border partner is conducted through exchange of information and knowledge, visits, joint events and production of information material. Significant attention is given to the promotion of the project activities and results. The results provide conditions for application of EU standards in vocational education in this field. Main beneficiaries of the project are teachers, instructors, coordinators and students of vocational schools, as well as employers and entrepreneurs from related business sectors.
