Description

Description (EN): of the Trans European transport corridor 1-A “Riga-Kaliningrad-Gdansk” by cargo and passengers carriers including transit ones through improvement of the motorway and cross-border infrastructure.

Achievements (EN):

1. New road dressing with the asphalt-concrete pavement of two traffic lanes from the right hand side in the direction of travel on the ready road bed from the km 24,7 to km 25,629 is constructed. 2. The bridge crossing of 806 running m. length according to the standards of the category II from the right hand side in the direction of travel on 22,6 km is built. 3. The ecological damage per vehicle is decreased. 4. The road conditions are improved. 5. Contribution is made to the decrease in the load on the motor roads leading to the nearest alternative border-crossing (Mamonovo-Gronowo, Bagrationovsk-Bezledy).

Expected Results (EN):

- New road dressing with the asphalt-concrete pavement of two traffic lanes from the right hand side in the direction of travel on the ready road bed from the km 24,7 to km 25,629 is constructed. - The bridge crossing of 806 running m. length according to the standards of the category II from the right hand side in the direction of travel on 22,6 km is built - Decrease in ecological damage (per vehicle) - Road conditions improvement - Contribute towards decrease in the load of use of the motoroads leading to the nearest alternative border-crossing points
