Description (EN):

The project aims at raising awareness on environment protection aspects among students, as well as at establishing personal and friendly contacts between youth on both sides of the border, through a series of activities. The joint camp serves as a great opportunity for students living on both sides of the border to get to know each other. Personal contacts established in early age contribute to better cooperation as adults. The main activities of the project are as follow: elaboration of the content of a contest, dissemination of call for the contest to schools via post and email, Kick-off event, training on filmmaking and cut for participants - 2 times in Bekes county, 2 times in Arad County, making the short films available on the web-site, ranking of the works by the board of professionals and voting on the web-site, announcement of results and awards ceremony, 1 week (6 nights) camp in Bekes county, and 1 week (8 nights) camp in Arad county, seminar and site visits on best practices in environment protection and pollution, and meeting with environment protection specialists and sustainability experts. Target groups of the project are: students, teachers and educational institutions.
