El proyecto COOPWOOD pretende fomentar la cooperación transfronteriza entre actores involucrados en la formación profesional en el ámbito de la madera y sus empresas, que permita una mejora sustancial de contenidos, métodos, herramientas y ofertas formativas que respondan en mayor medida a la demanda de su tejido empresarial. El objetivo no es sino mejorar los niveles de cualificación y las competencias de los diferentes agentes del sector de la madera, principalmente formadores, estudiantes y técnicos, para facilitar un nuevo reimpulso en un sector que se encuentra en pleno declive, en cierta parte por no haber sabido adaptarse a las nuevas tendencias de los mercados y de la sociedad en general. Se requiere a su vez mejorar la movilidad de sus estudiantes y trabajadores. Una mejora en el acceso al mercado laboral a ambos lados de la frontera permitirá a su tejido empresarial aprovecharse de las potencialidad existentes a uno y otro de la frontera y conformar equipos de trabajo lo más competitivos posibles. Es propósito del presente proyecto generar sistemas de equivalencia entre competencias y cualificaciones y generar herramientas de acceso directo a la información en materia de empleo, legislación, e información relevante del sector, que ayuden a eliminar las barreras existentes y facilite la movilidad de sus agentes y la colaboración entre empresas en el espacio transfronterizo.

Description (EN):

The COOPWOOD project aims to foster cross-border cooperation between actors involved in vocational training in the field of wood and its business, allowing a substantial improvement of contents, methods, tools and training offerings, that respond more to the demand of its value chain. The objective is simply to improve the qualification levels and skills of the different agents in the wood sector, mainly trainers, students and technicians, in order to facilitate a new revival for a sector in decline, unable to adapt to the new market trends and to the society in general. Also, the project aims to improve the mobility of students and workers. The improvement of the labor market acces, on both border sides, will enable new business, taking advantage of the potential of both sides of the border, creating the most competitive work teams. Another purpose of the COOPWOOD is to generate systems of equivalence between competencies and qualifications and generate tools to direct access the information on employment, the legislation and the relevant sector information; this helps to eliminate the existing barriers and facilitate the mobility of the stakeholders and the collaboration between companies in the cross-border space.

Le projet Coopwood vise à promouvoir la coopération transfrontalière entre les acteurs impliqués dans la formation professionnelle dans le domaine du bois et de sa filière économique, afin de favoriser une amélioration des matériaux, des méthodes, des outils et des offres de formation répondant mieux à la demande. L'objectif est non seulement d'améliorer les niveaux et les compétences des différents agents du secteur du bois, principalement les formateurs, les étudiants et les techniciens, pour faciliter une nouvelle relance dans un secteur qui est en plein déclin à cause de son incapacité à s'adapter aux nouvelles tendances du marché et de la société en général. Le projet cherche à améliorer la mobilité des étudiants et des travailleurs. L’amélioration de l'accès au marché du travail des deux côtés de la frontière permettra à la communauté de tirer parti du potentiel existant des deux côtés des frontières, afin que les meilleures équipes se forment. Le but est de créer des systèmes d’équivalences entre les compétences et les qualifications et générer des outils pour un accès direct à l'information sur l'emploi, la législation et les renseignements généraux pertinents, pour aider à éliminer les obstacles existants et de faciliter la mobilité de ses agents et la coopération entre les entreprises dans la zone frontalière.

Achievements (ES):

The Coopwood project has fostered cross-border cooperation between actors involved in professional training in the field of timber and their companies. This has allowed a substantial improvement of content, methods, tools and training offers that respond to the demand of the fabric to a greater extent. businessman. The aim of the project has been to improve the qualification levels and skills of the different players in the wood sector, mainly trainers, students and technicians, to facilitate a new re-impulse in a sector that is in full transformation. The timber sector is a sector strongly linked to the territory in the cross-border area due to its forest wealth on both sides of the border. It is also a sector it has potential in terms of cooperation, although it is usually dismissed for denouncing difficulties in overcoming existing barriers. The Coopwood project has optimised the existing potentialities of both the border, improving or developing the necessary tools for meet those needs that lacked solutions. Finally, a system of equivalence between training programs has been generated and a whether access to information on employment, legislation and innovation, facilitating worker mobility and collaboration between companies on both sides of the border.
