Description (EN): To contribute the readiness to the emergency situation in the medicine sphere in the cross-border area of Bukovyna and Moldova.

Achievements (EN):

Target groups of the programme were implicated within the conduction of 3 training sessions with employees of hospitals from three different countries. Approximately 115 persons have participated in training sessions. Moreover, around 270 representatives of each settlements of Novoselytsya and Zastavna districts in Ukraine, Ungheni district in Republic of Moldova, as well as Suceava county in Romania, participated in 4 information sessions aimed at increasing population’s awareness in terms of medical aid’s provision during emergency situations. Operational block in Novoselytsya CDH has been rehabilitated and tooled up with 10 air conditions. 2 ambulance-reanimation vehicles purchased and quipped with the following equipment: three-channel electrocardiograph, defimonitor with the functions of monitoring, defibrillation and cardio acceleration, transport and resuscitation system, pre-packed bag for reanimation, medical pre-packed bag, mobile defibrillator, portable one-channel, electrocardiograph, stationary artificial lungs ventilation device for car ambulance-reanimation, respiratory bags, apparatus for dosed oxygen inhalation with device for moistening, electric suction device with combined power supply , portable mechanical suction device, oxygen tank 10 litres, oxygen tank 2 litres, oxygen mask, apparatus for short-term mechanical lung ventilation, intubation sets, glucometer, set for the drainage of the chest, set for the puncture of pericardium, set for the cricothyrotomy, sphygmomanometer for car (stationary), sphygmomanometer portable, neurological gavel, mobile device for ultrasounds diagnostics. Zastavna CDH has purchased an x-ray.. 5 mobile devices for ultrasound diagnosis, 5 mobile devices for artificial lung ventilation, 5 mobile defibrillators have been procured and outsourced to hospital in Romania. 3 studies regarding the needs of emergencies and medical needs in case of emergencies in 3 countries have been drafted. To this end, the population of three countries have a possibility to take advantage of improved technical base of hospitals, and better service in case of emergencies. Project and programme were promoted by means of 1 web-site, 7 billboards, 18 articles, 9 radio spots, 12 banners and 9 TV spots. Moreover, 4 press-conferences took place within the project, where developed visibility materials have been distributed, such as, 1000 posters, 15000 leaflets, and 60000 brochures.

Expected Results (EN):

Purchased equipment for the Novoselytsya district central hospital, Zastavna district central hospital, hospital from Suceava county; 2 reanimation vehicles equipped with three-channel electrocardiograph, defimonitor with the functions of monitoring, defibrillation and cardioaccelerarion, transport and resuscitation system, syringe batcher, included pre-packed bag for reanimation, medical pre-packed bag and other equipment according to the Order of Ministry of Health care of Ukraine, 500 for providing medical aid for the injured in consequence of emergency situations and incidents (63 items and sets in total including stationary artificial lungs ventilation device for 1 car ambulance-reanimation) for the Novoselytsya CDH; 1 X-ray apparatus purchased and installed in Zastavna CDH; 5 mobile devices for artificial lung ventilation; 5 mobile defibrillators; 5 mobile devices for ultrasound diagnostics; Renovation of the rooms of surgical block of Novoselytsya District Cental Hospital; 10 air conditioners designed for 30 sq. meters purchased and installed in Novoselytsya CDH; trained medical personnel of the hospitals from Suceava County, Ungheni district, Novoselytsya district and Zastavna district; 3 training sessions.
