Description (EN): The main objective of the project is to share competencies and innovative tools for the protection of protected areas by fires.

Achievements (EN):

Neighbourhood Network and Database; Development and Operation of Aggregator Portal; 6 fuel model maps, one for each pilot area (based on satellite images); Fire risk maps for all study areas (total of six) (based on the FLAMAP model), b) Fire behaviour maps for all study areas (total of twelve), c) One technical manual of how the fire risk and behaviour maps were developed; a) 1 Report on the variables collected in the field for the runoff model b) 1 Report on the vegetative data collected for the runoff model; c)6 maps with the number optimal locations of the reservoirs in each pilot area d) 6 maps with the optimal routes for fire vehicles to the reservoirs in each pilot area
