Description (EN):

Knowledge intensive activities (CREATIVE or KNOWLEDGE CLUSTERS) are driving forces of growing importance. They comprise cultural industries, high-tech branches, higher education institutions and advanced producer services. This project enhances the cooperation of key institutional and economic actors and promotes the "knowledge economy" in the territories of 4MED (+1 noMED) countries by launching a transnational dialogue platform on policies, tools and strategies for attracting & creating innovation.

RC was presented in the congress of Athens 5th e-newsletter was produced The Athen tematic Congress & fair were organised and done Think tank activities were completed & winners attended Athens congress and fair Started the organization activities of the final Cong. in Valencia the 2nd phase of labs in Algarve and Sicily were carried out 2 Workshops were done in Milan & Calabria Skype meetings and 2 face2face metings (in Athens) were done for the 3 scientific working groups. the 3 e-books will be available in the next reporting period For pp1, 1 more agreement from FVMP is added to the existing (Calabria). Attica and Sicily were active on PP1 Next key steps for the project The budget reallocation & the next PR will be completed Partners from Valencia wil organise and host the final conf. in May 2013, with the cooperation of LP Organization of the Design Event that will be integrated on Final Congress System of Excellence in Valencia Attendance of all partners at Conf & the event in Valencia LP, UAlgarve & ARU will end the scientific publication and the e-book will be on-line. The 6th number of the e-newsletter will be published Workshops/seminars completed
