Description (EN):

The overall goal of Danube ENTRE is to build up a discussion about fostering creativity and entrepreneurship by setting up Competence Centres for Creativity and Entrepreneurship. Those centres will represent a network for exchange of practices and transfer approaches to foster creativity and entrepreneurship. To implement the ‘Competence Centres for Creativity’ with EU funding, a detailed project preparation was necessary. This was conducted as the Danube ENTRE START project. The main aim of the project was to transform the project idea into a fundable project concept, including the implementation of a feasibility study on the regional context, the preparation of the concrete project concept, the budget plan, and identification of available funding possibilities and thus the preparation and submission of the application for the Danube Transnational Programme.

Achievements (EN):

Within the Working Group various practices have been identified. They need to be systematically and consistently taken into account while developing new initiatives. The needs identified by the countries of the Working Group related to creativity and entrepreneurship include: 1) Bringing creativity closer to entrepreneurial education and training; 2) Bringing education closer to businesses; 3) Supporting continuous education and training for SMes, creative industries and greener businesses. Thus the partners discussed the possibility for establishing danube Competence Centres for Creativity and entrepreneurship that will represent a network for exchange of practices, transfer of approaches to foster creativity and ntrepreneurship, development of new curricula or trainings, advice and research on emerging industries and anticipating necessary skills for the future.
