SEDRIPORT (SEdimenti, Dragaggi e RIschi PORTuali) è un progetto con capofila la Regione Sardegna in partnership con il dipartimento del VAR, le Università di Cagliari e di Tolone, la Provincia di Livorno, L’ARPAL Liguria, L’ISPRA, L’Office des Transports della Corsica. Il progetto nasce per identificare una soluzione congiunta del problema dell’insabbiamento dei porti dell’area transfrontaliera e le soluzioni operative per il ripristino dei fondali. SEDRIPORT capitalizza il contributo di precedenti progetti che hanno fornito importanti informazioni sullo stato dei porti sperimentando sistemi di monitoraggio dell’ambiente marino; introduce un sistema comune per il costante monitoraggio dell’insabbiamento, dell’inquinamento delle acque e dei sedimenti, delle condizioni meteo-marine e dei principali parametri chimici e fisici delle acque dei porti, delle zone costiere limitrofe e degli acquiferi costieri; partendo dalle normative vigenti e dagli attuali compendi di buone pratiche si propone di realizzare le Linee Guida da adottare congiuntamente nello spazio transfrontaliero per affrontare la tematica dei dragaggi (ripristino dei fondali) e la gestione dei sedimenti. I cambiamenti climatici hanno un ruolo determinante nel favorire gli insabbiamenti strutturali dei porti e velocizzare le dinamiche di insabbiamento, aumentando sia i rischi per l’ambiente sia il rischio per le attività economiche legate al trasporto marittimo. E’ di tutta evidenza che un’azione, non rapida, di ripristino dei fondali di un porto, mette in crisi il tessuto economico e sociale di intere comunità, specialmente nelle isole. Pertanto l’individuazione congiunta di procedure operative e strategie comuni di intervento, tendono a minimizzare gli effetti negativi dell’insabbiamento ottenendo una migliore affidabilità delle risorse portuali a disposizione per l’economia locale con tutto quello che ne consegue in termini di garanzia di efficienza dell'intera area transfrontaliera.

SEDRIPORT (Sediments, Dredging and Port Risks) is a project led by Regione Sardegna in partnership with the VAR department, Cagliari and Toulon Universities, Livorno Province, ARPAL Liguria, ISPRA and the Corsica Transport Office. The project was created to come up with a joint solution to cross-border ports silting up and operational solutions for the restoration of the seabed. SEDRIPORT capitalises on the contribution of previous projects that provided valuable information on the status of the ports by testing marine environment monitoring systems. It introduces a shared constant monitoring system of silting up, water and sediment pollution, weather and sea conditions and the main chemical and physical parameters of port waters, neighbouring coastal areas and coastal aquifers. Based on current regulations and good practices, it means to implement the Guidelines to be adopted jointly in the cross-border area to address the issue of dredging (restoration of the seabed) and the management of sediments. Climate change causes and speeds up the silting up of ports, which increases environmental and maritime transport economic risks. Being slow in restoring port bottoms undermines the economy and social fabric of entire communities, especially in the islands. Setting standard operating procedures and action plans minimises the adverse effects of silting up and makes port resources more reliable for the local economy with all that follows in terms of guaranteeing the efficiency of the whole cross-border area.

SEDRIPORT est un projet qui a la Région Sardaigne comme Chef de file en partenariat avec le Département du VAR, l’Office des Transports de Corse, les Universités de Cagliari et Toulon, La Province de Livourne, l’ARPAL de la Ligurie et L’ISPRA, organisme du Ministère de l’environnement italien. Le projet nait pour identifier une solution conjointe au problème de l’ensablement des ports dans l’aire transfrontalière et les possibles solutions pour la gestion des sédiments et les dragages. SEDRIPORT capitalise les résultats des projets déjà réalisés qui fournissent des informations sur l’état des ports en expérimentant des systèmes de monitorage de l’environnement marin, adopte un système commun de monitorage de l’ensablement, de la pollution des eaux et des sédiments, des conditions météo marines et des principaux paramètres chimiques et physiques des eaux des ports, des zone côtières et des aquifères côtiers; en partant des normatives en vigueur et des bonnes pratiques SEDRIPORT se propose de réaliser des Lignes Directrices à adopter de manière conjointe dans l’espace transfrontalier pour traiter le problème des dragages et la gestion des sédiments. Les changements du climat favorisent les ensablement des ports et en accélèrent les dynamiques en augmentant tant les risques pour l’environnement que les risques pour les activités économiques liées au transport maritime. Il est évident qu’une action, lente, des rétablissement des fonds portuaire peut mettre en danger le tissu économique et social des communautés en particulier celui des îles. Par conséquent l’identification conjointe des procédures opératives et stratégies communes d’intervention peut minimiser les effets négatifs de l’ensablement en améliorant la fiabilité des ressources des ports disponibles pour l’économie locale avec toutes les implications en termes d’efficacité sur toute l’aire transfrontalière.
