Gemeinsame Herausforderung: Die Entwicklung des Tourismus wird normalerweise auf nationaler oder regionaler Ebene ohne eine wirksame grenzübergreifende Zusammenarbeit geplant.Bisher wurde in der grenzübergreifenden Gebirgsregion der westlichen Karawanken (Alpe Adria Karavanke/Karawanken (AAKK)), die eher schwach entwickelt ist,kein wirksamer grenzübergreifender Ansatz zur Entwicklung des nachhaltigen Tourismus und eines grenzübergreifenden spezialisierten Angebots geschafft,obwohl das Gebiet ein großes Potenzial für die Entwicklung des Tourismus hat. Allgemeines Ziel: eine nachhaltige Entwicklung des AAKK durch die folgende Outputs zum strategischen Schwerpunkt setzen: - umfassende Analyse des Grenzgebiets, - Entwicklung grenzübergreifender touristischen Angebote (Wandern, Radfahren und Wintererlebnisse), - touristische Anbieter und andere Interessengruppen erlangen neue Kenntnisse, - innovatives grenzübergreifendes Marketing (App,Erlebniswochenenden usw.), - langfr. strat. Plan zur Entwicklung des Tourismus, - grenzübergreifendes Buchungszentrum und eine innovative grenzüber. Plattform. Geplanter Ansatz: wir verwenden den Bottom-up-Ansatz in Kombination mit dem Top-down-Ansatz. Durch innovative Arbeitsmethoden werden innovative Lösungen und Konzepte entwickelt, die allein durch eine gute Zusammenarbeit und Vernetzung der Nutzer–Partner und Interessengruppen der Grenzregion (Gemeinden,öff. Einrichtungen,KMUs, sektorspezifische Agenturen,breite Öffentlichkeit)–in der Praxis umgesetzt werden können. Was ist neu: eine schlecht entwickelte, grenzüber.touristische Region wird durch innovative Angebote und zukunftsorientiertes Marketing zum ersten Mal auf dem internationalen Tourismus-Markt auftreten.Darüber hinaus wird der AAKK im Rahmen des Ökotourismus entwickelt.All dies wird eine langfr. Entwicklung des nachhaltigen Tourismus in der Region ermöglichen,neue Arbeitsplätze schaffen und die Zahl der Übernachtungen steigern.

Common challenge: The development of tourism is generally planned at national or regional levels without effective cross-border co-operation. So far, no effective cross-border approach for the development of sustainable tourism and of a specialised cross-border tourist offer has been developed for the cross-border area Alpe Adria Kararavanke/Karawanken. This area is rather weakly developed, even though it has great potential for the development of tourism. The general objective is to strategically plan the sustainable development of the Alpe Adria Park Karavanke/Karawanken area with the following outputs: - drawn-up comprehensive valorisation of the cross-border area, - developed specialised tourist offer of hiking, cycling and winter adventures, - new knowledge and qualifications of tourist service providers and other stakeholders, - innovative cross-border marketing approaches (mobile application, adventure weekends etc.), - long-term strategic tourism development plan, - cross-border booking centre and innovative cross-border platform. Planned approach: A combination of the bottom-up and top-down approaches will be used. With the innovative methods of work, innovative solutions and approaches will be used that can be realised in a quality way only by a good cooperation and networking of beneficiaries: partners and target groups (municipalities, public institutions, SMEs, sectoral agencies, general public) in the cross-border area. What is new: the underdeveloped cross-border tourist area will be placed on the international tourist map for the first time with an innovative range of products and marketing approaches. Furthermore, the cross-border development of the green tourist region Alpe Adria Karavanke/Karawanken will be ensured. All of the above will guarantee a long-term development of sustainable tourism in the area, create new jobs and increase the number of overnight stays.

Skupni izziv: Turistični razvoj se praviloma planira na državnem oziroma regionalnem nivoju brez učinkovitega čezmejnega sodelovanja. Do sedaj v čezmejnem območju Zahodnih Karavank (v projektu imenovanim Alpe Adria Karavanke/Karawanken), ki je razvojno dokaj šibko, ni bil razvit učinkovit čezmejni pristop za razvoj trajnostnega turizma in čezmejne specializirane turistične ponudbe. In to kljub temu, da ima območje velike potenciale za razvoj turizma. Splošni cilj je strateško usmeriti trajnostni turistični razvoj območja Alpe Adria Karavanke/Karawanken, kar bomo dosegli z outputi: - pripravljeno celovito valorizacijo čezmejnega območja, - razvito specializirano turistično čezmejno ponudbo pohodništva, kolesarjenja in zimskih doživetij, - novimi znanji in usposobljenostjo turističnih ponudnikov ter drugih deležnikov, - inovativnimi čezmejnimi marketinškimi pristopi (mobilna aplikacija, vikendi doživetij idr.), - dolgoročnim strateškim razvojnim načrtom turističnega razvoja, - čezmejnim rezervacijskim centrom in inovativno čezmejno platformo. Načrtovan pristop: Uporabili bomo kombinacijo pristopa od spodaj navzgor v kombinaciji s pristopom od zgoraj navzdol. Z inovativnimi metodami dela bomo razvili rešitve in pristope, ki jih je možno kakovostno udejaniti le z dobrim sodelovanjem in mreženjem koristnikov: partnerjev in ciljnih skupin (občine, javne inštitucije, mala in srednja podjetja, sektorske agencije, širša javnost) v čezmejnem prostoru. Kaj je novega: nerazvito čezmejno turistično območje bo z inovativno ponudbo in inovativnimi marketinškimi pristopi prvič postavljeno na mednarodni turistični trg, zagotovljen bo čezmejni razvoj zelene turistične regije Alpe Adria Karavanke/Karawanken. Vse navedeno bo zagotovilo dolgoročni razvoj trajnostnega turizma na območju, nova delovna mesta in dvig nočitev.

Das Hauptergebnis ist ein grenzübergreifendes touristisches Gebiet mit einer langfristigen strategischen Entwicklung, entwickelten touristischen Produkten, auf den touristischen Märkten positioniert und einem funktionierenden Buchungszentrum. Diese Ergebnisse werden das Bewusstsein für natürliche und andere Attraktivitäten des Gebiets, um die Bedeutung ihrer Erhaltung und nachhaltigen Nutzung erhöhen. Sie werden das Bewusstsein der Interessengruppen und Öffentlichkeit über die Möglichkeiten zur Entwicklung und Vermarktung nachhaltiger Tourismusprodukte in dem Gebiet, das Entwicklungstechnisch schwach ist, steigern. Die Entwicklung des grenzübergreifenden nachhaltigen Tourismus bringt mehr Besucher, Übernachtungen, erhöhen den Mehrwert der Anbieter von Unterkünften und Dienstleistungen, schafft neue Arbeitsplätze für Jugendliche, bewirkt positives Denken über die Möglichkeiten neuer Arbeitsplätze und Dienstleistungen für den Tourismus in dem Gebiet.

Glavni rezultat je oblikovano čezmejno turistično območje z dogovorjenimi dolgoročnimi strateškimi usmeritvami razvoja, razvitimi specializiranimi turističnimi produkti, pozicioniranimi na turističnih trgih, in uspešno delujočim čezmejnim rezervacijskim turističnim centrom. Navedeni rezultati bodo povečali zavedanje o naravnih in drugih privlačnostih območja, o pomenu njihovega ohranjanja in trajnostni uporabi. Povečali bodo zavedanje deležnikov in širše javnosti o možnostih razvoja in trženja trajnostnih turističnih produktov na območju, ki je razvojno precej šibko. Razvoj čezmejnega trajnostnega turizma prinaša več obiskovalcev, več nočitev, večanje dodane vrednosti ponudnikov namestitev in storitev, širi zavedanje o zaposlitvenih priložnostih za mlade, prinaša pozitivno razmišljanje o možnostih razvoja novih zaposlitev in storitev, povezanih s turizmom na območju.
