Description (EN):

The project addresses youth employability and labor mobility in the cross-border (CB) area as a result of 3 common territorial challenges: the insufficient linkage between vocational education (VE) and business sector, the language barrier and the gap in Entrepreneurship Education (EE) concerning the CB economic potential. The 18-month proposal regards these issues as opportunities. It capitalizes on the EC Report on the Impact of EE in BG and RO and develops a Joint Educational Scheme on Entrepreneurship Education without Borders (JES on EEwB). Using the cooperation approach in education, the project empowers teachers from two secondary schools in Economics in Silistra and Calarasi (B2, B3) to jointly design 3 programs within the JES: Enterprise without Borders, Green Entrepreneurship, Linguistic training with CB exchanges. Then, during the school year, the project provides the pilot JES among 800 students from these two schools, supported by the local and business communities (LB, B4, B5). To enhance other young people’s employability, the proposal invests in 2 computer labs and a Learning management system for tertiary/life-long/distant learners. Also the partners build up a joint network, encourage mutual educational validation so that CB school communities include the JES on EEwB in school curricula. Thus 3500 people, mainly students, will access 10 joint employment initiatives, contributing to the integration of CB area in terms of youth employment and labour mobility.

Achievements (EN):

The project was finalized on 19.12.2018. The following results has been achieved during the implementation period: - 1 Joint Educational Scheme on ‘Entrepreneurship Education without Borders’. (JES on EEwB) developed. - 1 network and agreement. - Joint trainings and webinars of teachers and students. - 1 joint educational competition Innovation Camp on Enterprise without Borders. - 2 language courses with joint linguistic practice. - 1 joint fair on CB students’ companies. - 1 easily accessible paper and on-line information tool (brochure “Entrepreneurship education without borders: a road to youth employment and social inclusion in the cross border region Bulgaria Romania”, available on paper and on line at: www.e4ylm.eu). - 1 joint Learning Management System (LSM) and web-site, available at www.e4ylm.eu.
