Description (EN):

The increasing digitisation of business processes by e.g. the Internet of Things or Industry 4.0 requires developing new business models (BM) for companies to remain competitive on global markets. There is no dig.transformation without appropriate business transformation.Mainly SMEs from less developed Danube regions(DR) but also from strong regions such as Baden-Württemberg (DE) are suffering from the dig. revolution as they still do not have enough competences to cope with dig.transformation’s challenges. Therefore DIGITRANS aims at developing a SME appropriate innovation method enabling SME to create competitive dig.BM within a specifically setup incubator space. DIGITRANS focuses on Creative Industries, Health & Advanced manufacturing-3 sectors relevant to all Smart Specialization Strategies from the partner regions to pilot the innovation method&tools to be developed transnationally by the consortium.By developing a transnationally validated blended learning training (BLT) programme in connection with a specific online learning environment, SMEs will be empowered&equipped with the relevant skills to handle their dig.transf.process successfully&create competitive BMs.To reach this aim the following outputs will be generated: -New digital BM method; -Validated innovation space with appropriate tools; -Targeted e-learning environment allowing SMEs&business support org.to learn independently; -Documented BM cases demonstrating DIGITRANS method’s effectiveness; -BLT concept to deliver the DIGITRANS method in partner regions&beyond; -Reg.policy workshops & recommendations to support reg.policy stakeholder to integrate DIGITRANS method into their dig.strategy. Already completed projects like INNOTRAIN IT(Interreg Central),ITSM4SME focused on the reduction of costs using IT service management.DIGITRANS goes beyond&addresses the strategic bus.opportunities the dig.transformation process is offering SMEs for developing new dig.BM&to shape successfully the global competition.

Achievements (EN):

DIGITRANS.ME E-LEARNING PLATFORM DIGITRANS.me is an e-learning platform that provides SMEs with an opportunity to learn about digital transformation process and to develop their new business models. It has been developed as a part of the DIGITRANS project by a team from University of Vienna with support from other project partners. SMEs can expect to gain access to quality learning materials such as studies and publications on innovation and entrepreneurship especially in areas such as creative industries, green economy or green ICT. Users can give their feedback on the platform and the content, which will be taken into account in future upgrades. DIGITRANS TRAIN-THE-TRAINER GUIDE NOW ONLINE! Based on the experience of running more than 60 face-to-face trainings during the last 12 months the DIGITRANS consortium has now released a train-the-trainer guide to support trainers in offering trainings to SMEs in the development of digital business model ideas using the DIGITRANS method. Within this guide interested trainers can find: a short and comprehensive description of the DIGITRANS blended learning process, clear instructions on how and when to use which method in the training setting, a checklist and overview on relevant lessons learned when organising such trainings and helpful handouts and templates to be used for the organisation and follow-up of such trainings.

Delivered Outputs (EN):

Strengthen transnational water management and flood risk prevention (short title). Strengthen joint and integrated approaches to further develop and implement River Basin Management Plans in the Partner States in line with the overall Danube River Basin Management Plan in order to improve transnational water management and flood risk prevention contributing to the sustainable provision of ecosystem services
