Description (EN):

To support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA 9 as the main objective of this project the following targets and activities (according to the work plan of PA9) are planned: - Coordination: Further establishing and maintaining the network of national counterparts relevant to the Priority Area Coordinators (Steering Group); Furthermore the network of stakeholders should be enlarged through concrete activities like Stakeholder Conferences or Thematic Workshops; - Implementation: Provide information (about financing possibilities, relevant stakeholders and partners in the EUSDR-Countries, existing projects etc.) for initiating new projects and initiatives in the related policy areas. -Communication: To raise public awareness and to inform stakeholders about ongoing activities of PA9 there will be a continuing update of the PA9 Website, PA9-Folders, PR-Material etc.

Expected Results (EN): The status of management capacities of Priority Area Coordinators (PAC) to effectively implement EUSDR goals, targets and key action (survey composite indicator)

Expected Outputs (EN):

The main result of the project is an improved governance system for PA9, this includes: - relevant stakeholders will be identified and integrated in PA9 acitivities, - by means of public relation activities interested stakeholders and the general public will be continuously informed about the topics and activities of PA9 - relevant projects will be identified for know how exchange to initiate new project ideas and support the development of new projects, projects ideas will be supported through information about financing possibilities and possible partners (at least two projects per year)

(11) enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration through actions to strengthen the institutional capacity and the efficiency of public administrations and public services related to the implementation of the ERDF, and in support of actions under the ESF to strengthen the institutional capacity and the efficiency of public administration.

Investment Priority: (11 ETC) ETC specific for transnational cooperation: enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration by developing and coordinating macro-regional and sea-basin strategies
