Description (EN):

RYE Connect will provide better transnational business opportunities, services and solutions for young entrepreneurs inside the whole NPA region. This will be achieved by developing a wide Associate Network working closely together, in a geographically intelligently managed model of a leaner partnership. Project partners come from Finland, Northern Ireland and Greenland, each working as a centre point for their associates and actions. The practical tools and methods developed and used in this project are based on the knowledge and best practice of the previous RYE project (Rural Youth Entrepreneurship). An interactive enterprise support platform (ESP) will be developed, through which vital support and knowledge transfer will be available to all including an interactive pitching portal that allows investors to find interesting business ideas from any corner of the NPA region. The support packages and workshops delivered, will be divided so that they effectively support businesses in different phases and needs i.e. pre-start, start, growth and turn-around. Key business fundamentals will be delivered through online mentoring and innovative workshops developing young people in the NPA region into ‘young entrepreneurs’. By setting up a transnational network and an innovative business support system, this project will provide support to new and existing small businesses and will promote an entrepreneurial culture through all that it does. It will encourage entrepreneurship directly within young people and networking actions with other organisations.

• Transnational “Enterprise Support Platform” to support Start Up, Growth (including export) and Turn-around, • Better transnational business opportunities and networks for young people inside the NPA region, • A associate network with NPA wide outreach, • An active investor network solution to support innovations and growth in the northern periphery and arctic.
