Die Globalisierung und Auslagerung von Fertigungsprozessen an Lieferanten erhöhen die Komplexität der logistischen Planung zunehmend, über Beschaffung, logistische Folgeprozesse bis zum Versand. Durch die fortschreitende Digitalisierung, bedingt auch durch die Hightech-Strategie der Bundesregierung (Industrie4.0), stehen immer mehr Daten entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette zur Verfügung, aus welchen Frühwarnindikatoren abgeleitet werden können, um wirtschaftliche Risiken zu reduzieren. Angesichts eines immer dynamischer werdenden Umfelds setzt die qualifizierte Planung der Wertschöpfungskette und das Erkennen der Frühwarnindikatoren entsprechendes Know-How voraus. Ein gemeinsames Vorprojekt der Projektpartner hat bereits aufgezeigt, dass insbesondere den regionalen KMU oftmals das Wissen bzw. hierfür qualifiziertes Personal fehlt. Um zu verhindern, dass regionale KMU bei der Nutzung des Datenpotentials zur Optimierung der eigenen Prozesse zurückfallen, soll in der Region ein Digital Innovation Center mit mehreren Bausteinen aufgebaut werden. Ein wichtiger Baustein, das LogLab (Logistik-Labor), soll im Rahmen dieses Projekts konzipiert und realisiert werden. Im LogLab werden neueste Zukunftsthemen und -technologien rund um die professionelle und datenbasierte logistische Planung praxisnah vermittelt und weiterentwickelt. Das LogLab dient somit als Verbreitungs- und Qualifizierungsplattform. Kernstück bilden Prozess-Simulationen und innovative Lehrmethoden. Die Evaluierung der verschiedenen Methoden und die Auswahl zeitgemäßer Formen der Wissensvermittlung sind Teil dieses Projekts. Im Wesentlichen geht es darum, unternehmerisches Denken und strategisches Entscheiden spielerisch auf hohem Niveau realitätsnah zu vermitteln. Dadurch wird das Verständnis der meist länderübergreifenden Gesamtzusammenhänge in der logistischen Kette gefördert und gefestigt. Die Labore in Grafenau und in Steyr können von Studierenden, regionalen Unternehmen und Forschern genutzt werden.

The globalization and outsourcing of manufacturing processes to suppliers are increasing the complexity of logistical planning. Due to the increasing digitization and also the high-tech strategy of the Federal Government (Industrie4.0), more and more data is available along the entire "value chain" from which early warning indicators can be derived in order to reduce economic risks. A joint preliminary project by the project partners has already shown that, in particular, regional SMEs often lack the knowledge or qualified personnel for this. In order to prevent regional SMEs from relinquishing their data potential to optimize their own processes, a digital innovation center with several building blocks is to be set up in the region. An important building block, the LogLab (logistics laboratory), is to be designed and realized as part of this project. In LogLab, the latest topics and technologies of the future relating to professional and data-based logistics are imparted and further developed. The LogLab thus serves as a dissemination and qualification platform. The centerpieces are process simulations and innovative teaching methods. The evaluation of the different methods and the selection of contemporary forms of knowledge transfer are part of this project. Essentially, it is about communicating entrepreneurial thinking and strategic decision-making in a playful manner at a high level. This promotes and consolidates the understanding of the mostly transnational overall connections in the logistical chain. The laboratories in Grafenau and Steyr can be used by students, regional companies and researchers.

Expected Outputs (DE): Durch das länderübergreifende Qualifizierungsangebot, Schaffung einer Infrastruktur für die gemeinsame Forschung und Einbezug der Unternehmen in Workshops wird eine stärkere Vernetzung der Forschungsinstitute, Studierenden und KMU der Region erwartet.
