In order to answer to the adaptation of Alpine tourism to climate changes, to develop activities of summer discoveries of the Alpine Massif by the valorisation of the natural heritage, JARDINALP project unit eight Alpine franco-italian botanic gardens: Garden of Charance, Lautaret, Paradisa, Castelsavoia, Chanousia, Saussurea, Valeria and botanic stations of Marguareis. In each garden, and around of them, visitors follow discovery paths of the Alpine Massif’s flora. They also can, thanks to a common panel of instruments, discover the Alpine Natural Heritage, visit other gardens of the program and discover some sectors of Alpes which have an emblematic vegetation. This networking of Alpine gardens furnish to public and local touristic actors an original and innovative cross-border product in synergy with other offers of the territory.

Afin de répondre à l’adaptation du tourisme alpin au changement climatique, de développer des activités de découverte estivales du massif alpin par la valorisation du patrimoine naturel, le projet JARDINALP réunit huit jardins botaniques alpins franco-italiens : les jardins de Charance, du Lautaret, de Paradisia, Castelsavoia, de Chanousia, de Saussurea, de Valeria et les stations botaniques du Marguareis. Dans chaque jardin, et autour de ces derniers, les visiteurs suivent des parcours de découverte de la flore du massif alpin. Ils peuvent également, grâce à un panel d’outils communs, découvrir le patrimoine naturel des Alpes, visiter les autres jardins du programme et découvrir certains secteurs des Alpes présentant une végétation emblématique. Cette mise en réseau des jardins alpins fournit au public et aux acteurs touristiques locaux un produit transfrontalier original et innovant en synergie avec les autres offres du territoire.

Per rispondere all’adattamento del turismo alpino ai cambiamenti climatici e per sviluppare le attività estive di scoperta del massiccio alpino attraverso la valorizzazione del patrimonio naturale, il progetto JARDINALP coinvolge otto giardini botanici alpini italo-francesi: i giardini di Charance, Lautaret, Paradisia, Castelsavoia, Chanousia, Saussurea, Valeria e le stazioni botaniche del Maguarais. In ogni giardino, e attorno a quest’ultimi, i visitatori seguono dei percorsi di scoperta della flora del massiccio alpino. Possono anche, grazie ad un insieme di strumenti comuni, scoprire il patrimonio alpino, visitare gli altri giardini del programma e scoprire alcuni settori delle Alpi che presentano una vegetazione emblematica. Questa rete di giardini alpini fornisce al pubblico e agli attori turistici locali un prodotto transfrontaliero originale e innovativo, in sinergia con le altre offerte del territorio.

Expected Results (EN):

The valorisation of the Alpine Natural Heritage, purposed by Jardinalp, is based on gardens which have different specificities (level of advancement, localisation and development plans). So, each garden purpose in Jardinalp project a a specific plan program on its site: creation of a public gardent, new itinerary, amelioration of infrastructures of public welcoming, … The networking of these gardens allows to mutualise competences and instruments for the valorisation of natural heritage and to discover Alpine Massif at a cross-border level. In order to allow the creation of a thematical touristic attractivity pole on Franco-Italian Alpine territory, the project develop a communication adapted to touristic public (website, Facebook page and other social medias), a network of touristic actors around Jardinalp product and press relations.

Expected Results (FR):

La valorisation du patrimoine naturel des Alpes, proposé par Jardinalp, s’appuie sur des jardins dont les spécificités (stade d’avancement, localisation et problématiques d’aménagement) sont différentes. Ainsi chaque jardin propose dans le projet Jardinalp un programme d’aménagement spécifique de son site : création de jardin public, nouvel itinéraire, remodelage, amélioration des infrastructures d’accueil du public… La mise en réseau de ces jardins permet également de mutualiser les compétences et outils au service de la valorisation du patrimoine naturel et de la découverte du massif alpin au niveau transfrontalier. Afin de permettre la création d’un pôle d’attractivité touristique thématique sur le territoire des Alpes franco-italiennes, le projet met en place une communication adaptée au public touristique (site internet, page Facebook et autres réseaux sociaux), un réseau d’acteurs touristiques autour du produit Jardinalp et des relations de presse.

Expected Results (IT):

La valorizzazione del patrimonio naturale delle Alpi, proposto da Jardinalp, si basa su dei giardini che hanno delle specificità (fase d’avanzamento, localizzazione e problematiche di organizzazione) diverse. Ogni giardino propone, tramite il progetto Jardinalp, un programma di restauro specifico del proprio sito: creazione di un giardino pubblico, nuovo itinerario, rimodellamento, miglioramento delle infrastrutture di accoglienza del pubblico. Mettere questi giardini in rete permette anche di condividere competenze e strumenti al servizio della valorizzazione del patrimonio naturale e della scoperta del massiccio alpino a livello transfrontaliero. Al fine di creare un polo d’attrattività turistica tematica sui territori delle Alpi italo-francesi, il progetto prevede una serie di azioni di comunicazione adeguate al pubblico turistico (sito internet, pagina Facebook e altri social), relazioni con la stampa nonché la connessione tra gli attori turistici attorno al prodotto Jardinalp.
