Description (EN):

The project´s main objective is to effectively protect the biodiversity of the border regions and support the preservation of biodiversity in unique natural area. Small water reservoir will be constructed with wetlands to accumulate water in the region. The reservoir is designed to look as a natural water reservoir. Trees and grass will be planted in the reservoir surrounding. Next part of the project is to implement measures that will prevent, regulate and exterminate invasive plant species. The project includes mutual research activities with focus on hydro ecologic research aiming to optimize the water ecosystem.

Description (CS):

Předmětem předkládaného projektu je efektivní ochrana biodiverzity příhraniční oblasti a podpora zachování biologické rozmanitosti přírodně významného území. V projektu bude vybudována malá vodní nádrž s mokřadem a mokřadní částí v obci Nová Lhota s cílem akumulace vody v krajině, vytvoření prostoru pro život živočichů a zvýšení celkové biodiverzity území. Nádrž je navržena s důrazem na vzhled blížící se přírodním přirozeným plochám. Zemní hráz bude oseta travou a okolní terén osázen solitérními stromy. Další součástí projektu jsou opatření na předcházení zavlečení, regulaci a likvidaci populací invazních druhů rostlin, která se budou týkat lesního hospodářství. Projekt zahrnuje ještě společné výzkumné aktivity zaměřené na hydrogeologický průzkum s cílem optimalizovat vodní režim krajiny.

Achievements (SK):

Odborní lesní hospodári pripravili vybraté porasty lesov mesta Stará Turá na zavádzanieprírode blízkeho obhospodarovania lesa a začali intenzívnu starostlivosť o rastlinné spoločenstvá s výskytom inváznych rastlín s dôrazom na ich elimináciu. V rámci projektu bolo analyzované katastrálne územie mesta Stará Turá. Pomocou obstaraného technického vybavenia boli priebežne sledované a vyhodnocované prírodnéprocesy. Propagácia využívania "prírode blízkych" hospodárskych postupov v lesníctve bola zabezpečená realizáciou odborného vzdelávania a konferenciouvr. terénnych ukážok. Vytvořen byl soubor dokumentů (zpracované projektové dokumentace) pro budování ekostabilizačních prvků v příhraničním území.

Achievements (EN):

Expert forest managers prepared selected stands of forests of the town of Stará Turá for the introduction of the nature-based close forest management and began intensive care of plant communities with the appearance of invasive plants with an emphasis on their elimination. As part of the project, the cadastral area of the town of Stará Turá was analyzed. With the help of the purchased technical equipment, natural processes were continuously monitored and evaluated. The promotion of the use of "nature-based" economic practices in forestry was ensured by the implementation of vocational training and a conference, field demonstrations. A set of documents (processed project documentation) was created for the construction of ecostabilization elements in the border area.
