Description (EN):

Sligo County Council has been awarded funding under the PEACE IV Programme to implement their PEACE Action Plan. The funding will be utilised to support a number of locally-based projects and initiatives that will promote positive relations between people from different communities and backgrounds. The PEACE Action Plan will be focused on three key areas: Children & Young People; Shared Spaces & Services; and Building Positive Relations. Under the Children & Young People element will involve five projects, including youth citizenship and leadership programmes.

Expected Results (EN): 2.1: The percentage of 16 year olds who socialise or play sport with people from a different religious community;
