Description (EN):

The SMF project proposal is focused on the development of a complex strategic transnational project aimed at acting as a policy driver in higher education for a better integration of professional qualifications. The project proposal aims to create a relevant consortium consisting of higher education institutions, regulatory bodies and umbrella-type organisations. The consortium will tackle the common challenges and needs deriving from both tertiary educational system and labour market in logistics field. The outputs of the SMF project will support PA7 coordinators to strenghten their capacity in implementing and communicating the EUSDR in order to achieve their own targets (increasing the annual output of co-publications in the region by 15% by 2020 and enhancing regional research and education co-operation to reach 20% of academic mobility within the region by 2020). The SMF project will deliver 3 pre-defined outputs as follows: 1. Report on the state of play in higher education – labour market in logistic field consisting in description of the current situation including bridging the gaps opportunities related to professional qualifications and job positions in Danube Region. The target group will consist from academic comunity and stakeholders from the logistic field in terms of required competences and knowledge of the graduates in order to better fit to the job positions on logistic labour market. 2. Main project work plan consisting of consortium partnership agreement, structure of the work packages, list of planned activities and deliverables, responsibilities of the partners and breakdown budget of the main project. 3. Report on funding possibilities consisting of the identification of appropriate funding programmes in 2019 as well as a road map for further actions after the SMF project is finalised. The road map will establish all the necessary steps for submitting in 2019 the proposal for the main project.
