A l’ère de la médecine personnalisée, IMLINFO a pour objectif la création d’une tumorothèque de lymphome non Hodgkiniens (LNH) associée à une plateforme de culture en 3 dimensions (3D)permettant d’évaluer l’efficacité de nouvelles immunothérapies. Sur le territoire de POCTEFA, on recense 450-1050 nouveaux cas par an, les traitements actuels incluent une base de polychimiothérapie d’efficacité variable accompagnée de fréquentes rechutes et d’importants effets secondaires. IMLINFO réunit des hôpitaux, centres de recherches, une entreprise de biotechnologie et technologique avec comme objectif d’établir des immunothérapies personnalisées réactivant le système immunitaire du patient et induisant la régression tumorale en absence de chimiothérapie. Ce réseau multidisciplinaire comprend des experts de systèmes de cultures cellulaires en 3D et en analyse d’images acquises en microscopie à feuille de lumière permettant de caractériser la structure des modèles 3D et la pénétration de molécules. De plus, l’entreprise de biotechnologie inclue dans IMLINFO possède une expertise solide dans le développement de petites molécules d’immunothérapies déjà licenciées à des industries pharmaceutiques internationales. Avec l’objectif d’aller vers une médecine personnalisée, la coopération transfrontalière est primordiale pour l’obtention d’un grand nombre d’échantillons de patients atteints de LNH recensés dans les hôpitaux du réseau POCTEFA et pour la collaboration scientific-technologique.

In the era of personalised medicine, IMLINFO aims to create a repository of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) associated to a 3 dimension (3D) culture platform, that will allow the determination of efficacy of new immunotherapy treatments. 450-1050 new NHL cases are detected each year inside POCTEFA´s territory ; current treatments include a polychemotherapy backbone of variable efficacy often associated to significant side effects. IMLINFO gathers hospitals, research institutes, one pharmaceutical company and one technological company, to establish personalized immunotherapies that reactivate patient´s immune system, inducing tumor regression in the absence of chemotherapy. IMLINFO is a multidisciplinary team with experts in 3D culture and multicellular cultures, together with the characterisation of 3D structures and drug penetrance by next generation microscopy. Moreover, the pharmaceutical company integrated in IMLINFO has recognized experience in the development of small molecules as innovative immunotherapies, some of them already licensed to international pharmaceutical companies. Aiming to progress towards personalized medicine, the cross-border cooperation is mandatory for the collection of material of a significant number of NHL patients from each of the hospital in the cross-border territory, together with scientific and technological collaboration.

En la era de la medicina personalizada, IMLINFO tiene por objetivo la creación de un repositorio de tumores de linfomas no Hodgkin (LNH) asociado a una plataforma de cultivo en 3 dimensiones (3D), para la determinación de la eficacia de nuevos tratamientos de inmunoterapia.En el territorio POCTEFA se detectan entre 450-1050 nuevos casos de LNH por año; los tratamientos actuales incluyen una base de poliquimioterapia, de eficacia variable y acompañado de frecuentes recaídas y con efectos secundarios no despreciables. IMLINFO reúne a hospitales, centros de investigación, una empresa farmacéutica y una tecnológica con el objetivo de establecer inmunoterapias personalizadas que reactiven el sistema inmunológico del paciente, induciendo la regresión del tumor en ausencia de quimioterapia. IMLINFO es un equipo multidisciplinar con expertos en sistemas de cultivo en 3D, cultivos multicelulares, así como en su caracterización estructural y penetrabilidad de fármacos por microscopia de última generación. Asimismo, la empresa farmacéutica integrada en IMLINFO posee demostrada experiencia en el desarrollo pequeñas moléculas como inmunoterapias innovadoras, ya licenciadas a farmacéuticas internacionales. Con el objetivo de avanzar hacia una medicina personalizada, la cooperación transfronteriza es primordial para la obtención de material de un gran número de pacientes de LNH procedentes de hospitales en el territorio POCTEFA y la colaboración científico-tecnológica.
