Description (EN): The focus of the project is to systematize and update the information about the trails offered in Blagoevgrad District and the East Planning Region. The created database will contain unified information about all tourist trails in the region with GPS mapping, which will be placed in Google Map with markers and options for visualization of textual, photo and video information. The database will contain information about all tourist sites, destinations, calendar of events such as religious holidays, festivals, rituals, exhibitions, concerts, municipal events, etc. This platform will allow to model traveling by several commands on the computer of mobile devices. The management and maintenance of the platform will be shared among the municipalities and the tourist organization and companies working in the field of tourism in the corresponding municipality. A common standard will be established for the creation of tourist trails for the purpose of their easy adaptation and uploading into the common database. Series of joint initiatives,trainings, competition and campaigns are going to be addressed to various target groups.
By implemention of the project - Research will be done, information about the itineraries offered in Blagoevgrad District and the East Planning Region will be collect, systematize and popularized, two tourist products and one on-line service in support of all-year round tourism will be created as well.
Common initiatives (trainings, workshop, webinar, tourist fora); two new regional tourist trails developed and promoted via an advertisement clip, digital walk and a brochure; guidebook prepared for guides and animators in tourism; Trained at least 25 persons from the target municipalities for guides and animators in tourism; Provided equipment to conduct the training, to use for actualization of database in future and for the trained people to be able to creation and tracking of new tourist trails and their integrate into the platform in future.

Со имплементација на проектот - ќе се направи Истражување , ќе се соберат информации за правци понудени во областа Благоевград и Источниот плански регион, систематизираат и популаризираат, ќе се создадат два туристички производи и еден on-line сервис за поддршка на сите во текот на едногодиншен туризам.
Заеднички иницијативи (обуки, работилници, webinar, туристички форуми); две нови регионални туристички патеки ќе се развијат и промовираат преку оглас ен клип, дигитална прошетка и брошура; подготвен Водич за водичи и аниматори во туризмот; Обучени најмалку 25 лица од целните општини за водичи и аниматори во туризмот; Обезбедена опрема за спроведување на обука, за да се користи за ажурирање на базата на податоци во иднина и за обучените луѓе за да можат да креираат и следат нови туристички патеки и нивното интегрирање во платформа во иднина.
Read more Description (BG): Проекта е фокусиран към систематизиране и актуализиране на информацията за туристическите маршрути, предлагани на територията на Област Благоевград и Източен регион за планиране. Създадената база с данни ще съдържа единна информация за всички туристически маршрути в региона с помощта на GPS картографиране, които ще бъдат поставени в „Google Map“ с маркери и възможности за визуализация на фото и видео информацията също така и като текст . Чрез изпълнението на проекта – ще бъде изготвено проучване, събрана информация за туристическите маршрути, предлагани на територията на Област Благоевград и Източен регион за планиране като информацията ще бъде систематизирана и популяризирана като два туристически продукта, също така он-лайн услугата ще бъде в подкрепа на туристическия сектор целогодишно.
Като общи инициативи ше бъдат проведени редица(обучения, практичеси инициативи, форуми); две нови регионални туристически пътеки ще бъдат популяризирани посредствум рекламен клип, дигитална разходка и брошура; пътеводител подготвени за водачи и аниматори в туризма; Обучени най-малко 25 души от целевите общини за водачи и аниматори в туризма; Предоставеното оборудване за провеждане на обучението, може да бъде използвано и за актуализиране на базата с данни и за в бъдеще и за обучение на хора, за да бъдат в състояние да създават и проследяват нови туристически пътеки и тяхното интегриране в платформата за в бъдеще.
Read more Achievements (EN): In order to have cross-border impact the project was jointly designed by both partners. The project takes into account the specific features of countries, their social and economic conditions and the tourism resources. The main cross-border impact of the project is explained by the joint implementation of activities and the sharing of the results of the project. The common studying of the offered tourist products and services, updating of information and creation of a common on-line platform underlines the efforts of both sides to apply a common approach towards the sustainable development of tourism in present and in the future. The shared administration of the platform among organizations and institutions from Blagoevgrad District and East Region, as well as its updating in the future reflects the cross-border impact of project implementation in the long term. The conducted various cross-border trainings, forums, workshops and Webinars under the project with involved a different participants from the sector and this help to improve the levels of offered products and services, adding to the tourist packages. The created two regional tourist trails are the proof of the willingness of participants at all levels of tourism to work together and in a network for the maximum utilization of the existing resources of the cross-border region for the sustainable development of tourism. The joint promotion of the two areas in a different ways and methods is also an evidence of cross-border mutuality in the project.

We created joint on-line platform www.e-tourguide.eu - a new type of service in the tourism sector which promote the tourism in the Internet space and help of the tourists for easy and comfortable finding information in one place. Published electronic database is with unified information about provided tourist routes in the region with GPS mapping, displayed on Google Map with markers and the possibility to view of text, photos and video information on three languages for free use at Internet.
Activity 5 – development of 2 regional tourist trails
We established two regional tourist route which presents destinations that are not well known and offered on market, do not have large attendance, but have untapped sufficient potential. The routes are for Blagoevgrad District and for East Region in three languages and published on www.e-tourguide.eu and www.nafocus.eu. In addition to promoting them were created two three-minute video clips, dubbed, subtitled in two languages, two digital walk along the routes with sound uploaded in the online platform and 2 brochures for each of them.

We created electronic database with info sheets for 79 routes and 259 objects for target region in three languages for free access on www.e-tourguide.eu that update on daily basis.
Activity 7 – Organization of tourism forums;
We conducted two regional tourist forum entitled „In Focus is Tourism“ in Blagoevgrad and Berovo. Encouraged more than 70 organizations with common interests to work for the sustainable development of tourism through the use of available resources in the best way. More than 200 participants took part in both forums
The official accession of new organizations and institutions to the Memorandum of Partnership signed in 2014 was the final closing part of each of the forums. As a result of our efforts, 40 new representatives of the tourist sector joined 35 organizations that signed a memorandum in
2014.
Activity 8 – Promotional campaigns.
We conducted a strong communication campaign in all period of implementation of activities under the project. We organized opening press conference for presenting the project to the general public in FYROM and closed the project with a final press conferences for presenting the results and achievements of the project on the Joint Tourism Forums in Blagoevgrad and Berovo.
At the beginning of each activity and after its implementation, we informed the electronic and radio media and published press releases in the social media.
Also we elaborated the follows information and communication materials under the project: Banner with animated logo, Brochure with information about the project; Information and promotional materials - 5 items of 100 pieces. (thermo mugs, hats, raincoats, umbrellas, magnets); Two brochures for tourism routes; Digital walk under two tourism routes; Videos of two tourism routes.

Activity 3 – Organization of training and workshop;
Two joint events were held for total of 110 participants were held – one training in Berovo on 25-27 may 2017 with 50 participants and one workshop in Melnik on 16-18.06.2017 with 60 participants.
Activity 4 – Organization of Webinar for work with the platform;
Two webinars were held for Bulgarian and Macedonian administrators of the platform www.e-tourguide.eu with 54 participants - 26 Macedonian administrators and 28 Bulgarian administrators.
Activity 6 – Training of guides and animators in tourism.
We organized and conducted training for tourist guide parallel on both sides of the border in Kochani and Razlog – and provided videoconferencing between participants. The training was attended by 57 participants - 25 Macedonian and 32 Bulgarian participants.
One person attended more than one event, but in different capacity as representatives - as person ability or a representative of an organization. However, out of all 221 registered participants 186 are participants without duplication for the project, ie. one person counts once. The participants are allocated by events as follows: Training in Berovo – all 50 participants; Seminar in Melnik – 56 of all 60 participants; Webinars for BG and MK administrators - 36 of all 54 participants, Training in Razlog and Gradche – 44 of all 57 participants. /See attached notification letter/
