The main idea of the project is to repair of the old and beautiful building of Community Centre “Georgi Todorov – 1885” in Belitsa where are organized all events of the cultural calendar of Municipality of Belitsa and it is visited by all tourists to enjoy the intangible cultural heritage of the area and delivering necessary equipment for movies projection and other enabling presentation of cultural heritage of the Makedonska Kamenica and the region at the Cultural Information Centre “Romansa”. Envisaged measures will ensure better conditions and necessary equipment for presenting the cultural heritage of the area to guests and tourists. All project activities and interventions will ensure contribution to Enhancing the tourism potential of the region through cooperation initiatives in better preservation and sustainable utilization of natural and cultural heritage.

Основната идеја на проектот е поправка на старата и убава зграда на читалиште "Георги Тодоров - 1885" во Белица, каде се организираат сите настани од културниот календар на општина Белица посетувани од гостите и туристите на градот, за да уживаат во нематеријалното културно наследство на регионот, како и обезбедување на потребната опрема за филмски проекции и други можности за визуелно претставување на информации за културното наследство на Македонска Каменица и регионот во Културниот информативен центар "Романса". Предвидените мерки ќе обезбедат подобри услови и потребна опрема за презентирање на културното наследство на гостите и туристите. Сите проектни активности ќе придонесат за подобрување на туристичкиот потенцијал на регионот преку иницијативи за соработка и за подобра заштита и одржливо користење на природното и културното наследство.

Основната идея на проекта е ремонт на старата и красива сграда на Читалище "Георги Тодоров - 1885" в Белица, където се организират всички събития от културния календар на Община Белица посещавано от гостите и туристите на града, за да се насладят на нематериалното културно наследство на района и осигуряване на необходимото оборудване за филмови прожекции и други възможности за визуално представяне на информация за културното наследство на Македонска Каменица и региона в Културен информационен център "Романса". Предвидените мерки ще осигурят по-добри условия и необходимо оборудване за представяне на културното наследство на района на гостите и туристите. Всички дейности по проекта ще допринесат за подобряване на туристическия потенциал на региона чрез инициативи за сътрудничество и за по-добро опазване и устойчиво използване на природното и културното наследство.

Achievements (EN):

The material and technical base presenting cultural heritage in Municipalities of Makedonska Kamenica and Belitsa had experience the need to be further developed and repaired. Although partners ensured the cultural life in the municipalities, before implementation of current project, they meet a common challenge - the bad condition of buildings and lack of equipment. Directly affected were tourists visiting Makedonska Kamenica and Belitsa who were not able to enjoy the cultural heritage in appropriate way and spend less time in both settlements and af a result used less of the services provided by local business. Indirectly affected were local people who didn’t benefit from the tourism potential of their regions. Project partners had chosen the following approach: to develop existing infrastructure through equipment of the cultural information centre in Makedonska Kamenica and repair of the building of the community centre in Belitsa using the CB cooperation as established successful model and funding of IPA. Joint development and management of the project raised the capacity of both partners. Project interventions ensured enhancing the tourism potential of the region through sustainable use of cultural heritage. As a result of implementation of project the tourists and visitors has at disposal improved material and technical base for presentation of cultural heritage and more reasons to visit and spend more time in the region. This leads to tourism development which is expected to result in good business climate, employment, less poverty, less migration and depopulation.
