Description (EN):

The project aims to enhancing the tourist potential of the cross-border area of Kyustendil and North-East region for sustainable utilization of the region's cultural and natural heritage by innovative means of tourist promotion, audiovisual products and ICT technologies. The project presents in an attractive way the common natural and historic heritage of the region and sparks interest in tourists in one district to visit the close-by and just-as-beautiful neighbourhood region. The project covers inventory, cataloguing and promotional 3D mapping videos of sites of tourist interest in the CBC area. The project results cover and benefit the population of Kyustendil District and population of North-East Region. The project address to enhance the cooperation opportunities among tourist stakeholders by providing meeting facilities, roadshow, simultaneously serving as exhibition halls dedicated to the common natural, cultural and historical heritage of the area.

Проектот има за цел подобрување на туристичките потенцијали на прекуграничниот регион Ќустендил и Североисточниот плански регион за одржливо користење на културното и природното наследство од регионот преку иновативни средства за туристичка промоција, аудиовизуелни производи и ИТ технологии. Проектот го претставува на еден многу атрактивен начин зеадничкото природно и историско наследство на регионот за да ги заинтересира туристите од една област да ја посетат соседната област во непосредна близина и како убав регион од соседството. Проектот опфаќа инвентаризација, каталогизација и промотивни 3D мапирани картографски видеа на интересните туристички објекти во регионот на прекугранична соработка. Резултатите и бенефитите од проектот ке ги почуствува и ке бидат насочени кон населението на Ќустендил и населението на Северо-источниот регион. Целта на проектот е подобрување на можностите за соработка меѓу туристички чинители преку обезбедување на средби и состаноци, изложбени сали наменети на заедничкото природно, културно и историско наследство на областа.

Проектът има за цел да засили туристическия потенциал на трансграничната област на Кюстендил и Североизточния регион за устойчиво използване на регионалното културно и природно наследство чрез иновативни средства за туристическо представяне, аудиовизуални продукти и ИКТ технологии. Проектът представя по атрактивен начин общото природно и историческо наследство на региона и акцентира върху туристическия интерес за близко посещение и върху красивия добросъседски регион. Проектът обхваща опис, каталогизиране и изготвяна на промоционални 3D картографски видеоклипове на интересни туристически обекти в трансграничната област. Резултатите от проекта засягат и са от полза за населението на Кюстендил и на Североизточния регион. Проектът е адресиран до повишаване възможностите за сътрудничество между туристически заинтересовани участници чрез срещи, пътеводители, изложбени зали, посветени на общото природно, културно и историческо наследство на района.

Achievements (EN):

The project had a clear and tangible cross-border impact. Backed by the excellent condition for development of various types of alternative tourism provided by the cross-border region, the project promotes the natural, historical and cultural heritage in an unconventional manner with the use of modern audiovisual technologies. The obtained outputs of the activities will serve for a significant amount of time to promote the tourist attractiveness in unconventional ways and to increase the number of entertainment activities for the region’s visitors. The elaborated 3D videos and their projection in the course of the roadshow further complement the attractiveness of the whole region and increase the tourist flow. These activities sparked significant interest not only in the tourist stakeholders: the general public also witnessed new and exciting facets of the region’s beauty, culture and richness. The tourist attractions of the region became known to the countless multitude of users of Internet and social media. The established exhibition halls, hosting the projection of the 3D videos will promote the beauty of the CB region year-round, providing a sustainable entertainment for visitors regardless of the season or weather conditions.

Indicator; Reached value; Comment Number of newly built or reconstructed or upgraded tourist related facilities and attractions;2.00;Two exhibition halls in one building in Kriva Palanka reconstructed and equipped; One exhibition hall in Kyustendil upgraded and enhanced with public address equipment, interpreting facilities, etc. The renovated halls now successfully serve as tourist-related facilities for presentations and conference purposes. 16 promotional videos have been produced under Activity 3. They remain at disposal of the two project partners and will be be used at tourist attractions (cultural and natural heritage sites) in the region for their modern audiovisual promotion.
