Description (EN):

The project overall objective is stimulating sustainable tourism development based on the natural and cultural heritage through small scale investments for improvement of accessibility to natural and cultural heritage, as well as activities related to the further capacity building and support for joint educational tourism program development. The project’s purpose will be achieved through implementation of folowing activities jointly managed by project partners: Construction of local road in Lipkovo. This activity will build and asphalt local road towards Lipkovo Lake in total length of 1.72 km and 4 meters wide; Development of touristic map for Lipkovo; Development of the Bistrica bank River into tourism attraction. This activity will reconstruct and develop into a tourism attraction the second part of the river bank in the village including pedestrian area, bicycle lane, rest area with benches and other equipment, nice lightening and improvement of three bridges along the river; Design and production of digital interactive tourist map of the region of Satovcha covering the attractions and services in the area of Checha, printing of 500 BG and 500 ENG copies, and production of 100 CDs; Production of project’s souvenirs will take place in Satovcha. Different souvenirs will be produced - 300 branded with the program logos cotton bags, bags, 300 branded with the program logos USB - 8 GB, 500 branded pencils. The similar life style in partners, which is attractive for the sustainable tourism market segment, in particular the educational and research aspects of cultural tourism, is the core for the cross-border impact.

Општата цел на проектот е поттикнување на одржлив развој на туризмот врз основа на природното и културното наследство преку инвестиции од мал обем за подобрување на пристапноста на природното и културното наследство, како и активности поврзани со натамошно градење на капацитетите и поддршка за заедничка образовна програма за развој на туризмот. Целта на проектот ќе се постигне преку имплементација на следните активности кои ќе бидат заеднички имплементирани од проектните партнери: Изградба на локален пат во Липково. Оваа активност ќе обезбеди изградба на асфалтен пат кон Липковско Езеро во должина од 1,72 км и ширна од 4 м. Изработка на туристичка мапа за Липково. Развој на кејот на реката Бистрица во туристичка атракција. Оваа активност ќе развие нова туристичка атракција на вториот дел од брегот на реката во селото вклучувајќи пешачка зона, велосипедски патеки, област со клупи и друга опрема, добро осветлување и рехабилитација на три моста долж реката. Дизајн и производство на дигитална интерактивна туристичка карта на регионот Сатовча со покривање на туристички атракции и услуги во областа Чеча, печатење на 500 (BG и ENG) копии, и производство на 100 ЦД-а. Изработка на сувенири за проектот во Сатовча. Различни сувенири ќе се произведат - 300 памучни торби брендирани со логоа на програмата, чанти, 300 USB - 8 GB брендирани со лого, 500 брендирани моливи. Сличниот животен стил во партнер општините кој е атрактивен за одржлив туристички маркет, а посебно образовните и истражувачките аспекти на културниот туризам, го претставуваат јадрото на прекуграничното влијание.

Description (BG):

Основната цел на проекта е да стимулира устойчивото развитие на туризма на базата на природното и културно наследство чрез дребномащабни инвестиции за подобряване на достъпността до природното и културното наследство чрез изпълнението на дейностите свързани с по-нататъшното изграждане на капацитета и подкрепата за съвместната образователна програма за развитие на туризма. Целите на проекта ще бъдат постигнати чрез изпълнение на следните дейности, управлявани съвместно от партньорите по проекта: чрез изграждане на шосе в Липково. Ще се изгради асфалтен път към езеро Липково с обща дължина 1,72 км и ширина 4 метра; Развитие на туристическата карта на Липково; Превръщането брега на реката в Бистрица в туристическа атракция. При тази дейност ще бъде реконструирана и другата част от брега на реката в селото, включително пешеходната зона, велосипедната алея, мястото за почивка с пейки и другите съоръжения, ще бъде поставено осветление и ще се подобрят трите моста по реката; Ще бъде проектирана и изработена цифрова интерактивна туристическа карта на района на Сатовча, обхващаща атракции и услуги в областта на „Checha“, ще бъдат отпечатени 500 копия с листовки на български и 500 на английски, и произведени 100 CD-та; Производството на сувенири по проекта ще се изпълни в Сатовча. Ще бъдат произведени 300 бр. сувенири с логото на програмата, памучни торби, 300 бр. брандирани 8 GB флаш памети и 500 брандирани моливи. Близкия стил на живот на партньорите, който е атрактивен и актуален в този сегмент на туристическия пазар, и по-специално образователния и изследователски аспекти на културния туризъм, е в основата за трансгранично въздействие.

Achievements (EN):

Both municipalities possess beautiful nature and water basins which are not yet utilized for tourism development. The cultural heritage on both sides is not explored and utilized for tourism purposes due to lack of adequate access and not developed tourism products. The construction of new road towards Lipkovo Lake and pedestrian and resting areas on river Bistrica in Satovcha have already contributed to increased number of population practicing their benefits. For example, according to a restaurant owner, since new road was constructed in Lipkovo, the number of visitors increased for some 20%. This somehow confirms the expectation from the application that the project will improve the quality of life in two municipalities and has positive impact to the local economies. It is also expected that, although the two municipalities do not have physically common border, the cross border effect will be even more emphasized due to the similar life styles in the two municipalities with a special attitude towards water. A Cooperation agreement between the two municipalities was signed to confirm the achieved successful partnership as well as the intention for future collaboration.

Activity 3 has been implemented at LP (Lipkovo) while activity 6 at PP2 (Satovcha). NOTE: Due to the fact that the same indicator in the AF was split between LP (1,7) and PP2 (1,1) the system counted and presented only the first value of 1.7, although in reality the target and reached value is 2.8.
