MC2 prepares the Eixo Atlántico Urban System for the challenges of the post-crisis period, consolidating the role of cities as the main actors of economic and social development and strengthening the active participation of the population and other stakeholders of the Euroregion in its construction as a unique and cohesive territorial unit. The project will act on two axes: the coordination of strategies and policies, through the creation of an Urban Agenda shared by the cities and the inclusion and participation of citizens.

O MC2 visa preparar o Sistema Urbano Eixo Atlántico para os desafios do período pós-crise, consolidando o papel das cidades como principais atores do desenvolvimento econômico e social e fortalecendo a participação ativa da população e demais atores da Euroregião em sua construção. como unidade territorial única e coesa. O projeto irá actuar em dois eixos: a coordenação de estratégias e políticas, através da criação de uma Agenda Urbana partilhada pelas cidades e a inclusão e participação dos cidadãos.

MC2 tiene como objetivo preparar el Sistema Urbano del Eixo Atlántico para los retos del periodo pos-crisis consolidando el papel de las ciudades como principales actores de desarrollo económico y social y afianzando la participación activa de la población y demás actores de la eurorregión en su construcción como unidad territorial única y cohesionada. El proyecto actuará sobre dos ejes: la coordinación de estrategias y políticas, a través de la creación de una Agenda Urbana compartida por las ciudades y la inclusión y participación de la ciudadanía.
