Description (EN):

The EBROS project proposes the creation of an activity to strengthen cross-border collaboration in research and innovation between the Universities of the EBRoS Cross-border Campus, which consists of the Iberus International Campus of Excellence (University of Zaragoza, Public University of Navarre, University of Rioja and University of Lleida) as well as the UPPA and the PRES de TOULOUSE. In addition, the project aims to improve interaction between universities and the industrial fabric of the regions, in order to promote innovation as a model for territorial, economic and social development. EBRoS2020 is a continuation of the coordination and cooperation work initiated when the EBRoS cross-border campus was set up in 2011. EBRoS2020 is an additional step in the implementation of the coordination project between the 6 Universities, a project that is part of the new European Research and Innovation context.

Achievements (EN):

Increased collaboration between research groups from the six universities in the partnership. Optimisation of the use of resources allocated to support R&D&I in the territories. Initiation of new lines of joint work. Construction of collaboration agreements between research groups of the participating universities. Organisation of a European cross-border campus event with the participation of 11 European cross-border campuses. Match-making events organised to promote the aggregation of researchers in the field of Energy and Environment with more than 100 participants. Launch of the EUTarget2020 tool to promote the participation of researchers in Horizon2020 projects.
