Description (EN):

The project’s objective is to enhance migrants’ integration in CE Regions by strength their enterprise to become financially secure and independent. Entrepreneurship is a powerful driver of economic growth and job creation: it creates new companies and jobs, opens up new markets, and nurtures new skills and capabilities.The SEE ME IN project aims to support an environment attractive to all forms of migrant entrepreneurship, where also business support services reach all potential entrepreneurs, with the aim to make the CE in its entirety stronger and more cohesive. Within the CE, migrants represent, mainly in the urban context, an important pool of entrepreneurs, but can face, specific legal, cultural and linguistic obstacles. These issues need to be addressed in full to give support equitable to that received by all other entrepreneurial groups. The main objective is to promote immigrants’ entrepreneurship to make them more competitive on the market as well as a tool to create a Social Cohesion environments:Enhance the entrepreneurship of Immigrants;Promote mutual learning and exchange;Encouraging Social Cohesion. The WPTs to reach our objective are: T1:Context Analysis, increasing knowledge on immigrants’ entrepreneurship: mapping of existing enterprises, analysis of training needs and ability to network and integrate.T2:Creation of an environment where immigrants’ entrepreneurs can flourish and grow. T3:Pilot Project to test a “Cloud Hub” to support these enterprises. T4:Supporting the development of a B2B dimension among migrant entrepreneurs and established ones thanks to face to face events and digital learning. The main result of SEE ME IN is to create a Social Cohesion environments where entrepreneurship education prepares people to be responsible and enterprising individuals. Social Cohesion and Entrepreneurship Education helps people develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to achieve the goals and share social and business needs of the city.

Achievements (EN):

The aim of the SEE ME IN project was to enhance the integration and competitiveness of multicultural enterprises in the cities of Central Europe creating a more attractive environmental for their growth and reinforcing their linkages with the native enterprises and local ecosystem. After three years of implementation and despite the pandemic complex time, SEE ME IN offered the tools to the multicultural entrepreneurs (MEs) to make their businesses more solid and competitive, as well as facilitated the creation of new business connections and network consolidation of MEs through project activities.

Expected Results (EN): R 1.2 Status of capacities of the public and private sector for skills development of employees and entrepreneurial competences achieved through transnational cooperation driving economic and social innovation in central European regions.

Expected Outputs (EN):

The SEE ME IN will tackle common territorial challenges concerning the structural weaknesses of immigrant enterprises (eg lack of knowledge of public authorities responsible for development policies, lack of networking). Thanks to its integrated approach, looking simultaneously at networking and managerial needs, and involving all relevant public and private stakeholders the project will produce key changes for the migrant entrepreneurship sector by making available to them innovative technologies, by supporting them in gaining the competences. Hence, important result of the project will be an improved competiveness of Immigrant's enterprises in participating regions which will support their involvement in open markets and in accessing new and international markets. The project will directly contribute to the relevant result indicator since its main outputs will contribute to increasing the capacities of immigrant’s enterprises in terms of entrepreneurial and managerial competences. The project will also directly contribute to increasing capacities of public authorities in terms of decision-making processes as well as policy and strategy elaboration connected to migrants cohesion development by increasing their knowledge. SEE ME IN, thanks to co-developed activities/reciprocal exchange between migrant and establish enterprises and thanks to communication activities, will impact on integration and on reducing the social and cultural gap within the CE cities and regions.
