Description (EN):

The network is focused on the transfer of a good practice established by the municipality of Amadora which addresses a need across all partners, namely how to counter growing negative attitudes towards a cross section of groups in society, which includes long established migrants (Third country nationals) , Roma, recently arrived refugees, LGBT people, and general homophobic stereotyping.The transfer of the good practice developed by Amadora addresses this key policy challenge.

Achievements (EN):

Transnational Methodology Our transfer programme involved a mix of transnational workshops and training, peer to peer local training and thematic online events. It evolved in response to the needs of partners and impact of Covid-19 which resulted in a shift from face to face events to an online programme. The online programme enabled wider participation of local stakeholders within partner cities and also the wider public and external experts. These events facilitated a much broader sharing of learning and experiences from the Rumourless Cities network.
