ROCKET Reloaded stellt eine Fortsetzung des Projekts „ROCKET“ dar. Im ursprünglichen Programm des Projekts ROCKET sind 11 Innovationsprojekte und 6 Machbarkeitsstudien durchgeführt worden. ROCKET ist sowohl durch die Europäische Kommission, im Rahmen des Programms WATIFY, als auch durch das INTERREG-Programm KISS ME als Beispielsprojekt zur Inspiration für andere Regionen ausgewählt worden. Der Grund dafür ist die Mischung innerhalb des Projekts aus einem „festen Teil“ mit vorher definierten Projekten und einem „offenen Teil“, der Raum bietet für Unternehmen, möglichst rasch zu hochwertigen Innovationsprojekten zu gelangen. Die Unternehmen, die bisher noch nicht als Leadpartner an ROCKET teilgenommen haben, erhalten Priorität. Außerdem wird der Anteil neuer Partner im offenen Teil größer als 40% sein. Der Mehrwert des Projekts ROCKET Reloaded stützt sich auf folgende Pfeiler: 1 KETs wurden durch die Europäische Kommission im Rahmen der H2020-Strategie als Key Priority bestimmt. Diese Schlüsseltechnologien bilden die treibenden Kräfte der Wirtschaft. 2 Die beteiligten Regionen zeigen alle eine starke Verbindung zum Thema „Spitzentechnologie“ auf. Sämtliche Regionen innerhalb des Projekts erwähnen KETs als strategische Priorität in ihren Regionalen Intelligenten Spezialisierungsstrategien (S3). Darüber hinaus wird mit Thinktanks in der Region ein Beitrag zur Generierung und Verwertung von neuem Wissen geleistet. 3 Das Projekt baut auf den Ergebnissen aus früheren Projekten auf. Im Rahmen des Projekts ROCKET wurden die nötigen Erfahrungen gesammelt und ein Netzwerk von Spezialisten aufgebaut. Die erfolgreichen Projekte, die bereits angelegt wurden, können in ROCKET Reloaded weitergeführt werden. 4. Momentan wird nach Synergien mit anderen INTERREG-Programmen wie u.a. MIND, IPRO-N, DIGIPRO, FOOD2020, Enerpro, D-HL HIT gesucht, damit das Volumen der geförderten europäischen Investitionen maximiert werden kann.

ROCKET Reloaded is a sequel to the project “ROCKET”. Within the framework of this original project, eleven innovation projects and six feasibility studies were executed. ROCKET has also been elected as a best practice by both the European Commission (through the WATIFY program) and INTERREG Europe (KISS ME program). The mix of a number of predefined innovation projects that serve as inspiration and example, and an open part that has room and budget for new innovation projects to be defined during the program provides a strong instruments for SMEs to increase and strengthen their innovative activities. The preference in ROCKET Reloaded is given to companies that have not participated as a lead partner in any of the projects in ROCKET. Furthermore, the percentage of new partners in the open part will be higher than 40%. ROCKET Reloaded will strengthen the regional competitive advantage because of four fundamental points. 1. KETs are assigned as a key priority by the European Commission in the 2020 strategy. The key enabling technologies are economic engines and will play a significant role in innovation and job growth. 2. The involved regions all have a strong link with high-tech. Each region in the project has the KETs as a strategic priority in their Smart Specialisation Strategies. Furthermore, a contribution will be made towards the valorisation of new knowledge in these areas because of the implementation of think tanks. 3. The project builds upon earlier success. During ROCKET, a great deal of experience has been gained and there is a strong network of specialists. Excellent projects have been prepared that are now ready for further advancement. 4. There will be an active search for synergies with other INTERREG programs, such as MIND, iPro-N, Digipro, Food2020, Enerpro & D-NL HIT to maximize the gains of each European euro.

Er wordt actief naar synergie met Interreg programma’s, als MIND, IPRO-N, DIGIPRO, FOOD2020, Enerpro, D-NL HIT, gezocht om de opbrengst van elke Europese euro te maximaliseren.

Achievements (DE):

Mit sechs erfolgreichen Innovationsprojekten hat das Interreg Projekt „ROCKET Reloaded“ durch die regionale Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmen und Instituten in der Deutsch-Niederländischen Grenzregion im Bereich der Schlüsseltechnologien zahlreiche Innovationen auf dem Weg in verschiedenste Märkte und Anwendungen unterstützt. Erneut. Denn bereits im Vorgänger-Projekt „ROCKET“ ließ sich eine sehr positive Bilanz des Projekt-Konzepts ziehen, welches die gezielte Förderung von Innovationsprojekten in einem offenen und einem geschlossenen Projektteil beinhaltet. ROCKET wurde so zum Beispiel vom europäischen „WATIFY“ Projekt oder dem InterregEurope Projekt „KissMe“ als herausragendes Beispiel für die regionale Förderung von Schlüsseltechnologien hervorgehoben. Auch ROCKET Reloaded war ein voller Erfolg und es wurden insgesamt 52 Unternehmen in einem Zeitraum von drei Jahren unterstützt, davon 47 KMUs.
