Description (EN):

The goal is to build more sustainable and energy-efficient public buildings. The S2C project aims to raise the level of knowledge and change the attitude towards building sustainably. Based on three cases, the project will develop tools, models and “best practices” for an increased understanding of how municipalities and public developers should get the most sustainability, energy efficiency and circular economy for money. The project follows the constructions in three countries: a new vocational school in Grimstad, Norway, Børne- og Ungeuniverset in Aalborg municipality on Jutland, and Hoppet in Gothenburg municipality. The exchange of experience will take place during construction times, between cases and regions involved. Concretely, it is about looking at energy consumption in plant operation, the use of sustainable materials, architectural solutions and energy-saving and sustainable building processes. The project wants to be able to show examples of how municipalities can impose demands on sustainability and circular economy in procurement and the subsequent cooperation with the contractor.

Målet är att fler hållbara och energieffektiva offentliga byggnader ska byggas. Projektet S2C vill höja kunskapsnivån och förändra attityden kring att bygga hållbart. Med utgångspunkt i tre case ska projektet utveckla verktyg, modeller och "best practises" för en ökad förståelse kring hur kommuner och offentliga byggherrar ska få mest hållbarhet, energieffektivitet och cirkulär ekonomi för pengarna. Projektet följer byggnationerna i tre länder: en ny yrkesskola i Grimstad i Norge, Børne- og Ungeuniverset i Aalborg kommune på Jylland, samt Hoppet i Göteborgs kommun. Erfarenhetsutbytena kommer att ske under byggtiderna, mellan casen och involverade regioner. Konkret handlar det om att titta på energiförbrukningen i anläggningsdrift, användningen av hållbara material, arkitektoniska lösningar samt energibesparande och hållbara byggprocesser. Projektet vill kunna visa exempel på hur kommuner kan ställa krav på hållbarhet och cirkulär ekonomi i upphandling och det efterföljande samarbetet med entreprenören.
