INTERMED s’inscrit dans le contexte du risque incendie au niveau des interfaces habitat/espace naturel. L’interface est la zone de contact entre l’espace naturel et les zones urbanisées, qui ont tendance à s’étendre du fait de l'étalement urbain et de l'abandon rural. Les interfaces présentent de forts enjeux de sécurité civile, de protection de la biodiversité, d’aménagement et de développement durable. INTERMED a pour objectif principal d’identifier le risque incendie aux interfaces habitat/espace naturel et de définir des moyens efficaces pour réduire leur vulnérabilité. Pour cela, le projet se découpe en trois parties : L’identification et la cartographie du risque incendie aux interfaces habitat/espace naturel L’évaluation de la vulnérabilité des bâtiments liée à la présence de végétions aux abords des constructions. Le test d’actions-pilotes pour réduire la vulnérabilité des zones d’interface. Le projet permettra de faire un état des lieux des problématiques dans la zone de coopération, de comparer les législations, de réaliser un partage d’expériences, de comparer l’efficacité de différentes actions et finalement de définir les méthodes les plus efficaces en vue de les généraliser aux territoires de la zone de coopération. Seront réalisés : La cartographie haute résolution des zones d’interface avec caractérisation du risque incendie, Des préconisations pour la réalisation de mesures réglementaires dans le cadre des aménagements paysagers aux abords des constructions, L’implémentation des outils d’évaluation dans la plateforme REMOcRA, Des mesures de réduction des risques et d’autoprotection des populations, La mise en place de signalétique pour indiquer les voies d’évacuation et les zones de rassemblement. Ces réalisations bénéficieront aux autorités chargées de la prévention des incendies, aux résidents et visiteurs des zones concernées par les actions-pilotes.

INTERMED addresses the risk of fire in the areas of interface between expanding urban centres and the outdoors, also due to rural abandonment. These interface areas represent high safety hazards for people, goods, biodiversity, land use and sustainable development. These interface areas present high safety hazards for people, goods, biodiversity, land use and sustainable development. The main purpose of INTERMED is to identify effective ways to reduce the vulnerability of these areas. For this purpose, the project has three parts: the identification and mapping of the fire risk for the interface areas, the vulnerability of buildings close to vegetation, pilot actions to reduce the vulnerability of interface areas. This project is supported by Partners from across the cooperation area and will share the state-of-the-art legally, compare the effectiveness of the various actions and define the most effective methods to be adopted throughout the cooperation area. The INTERMED project will implement the following: High-resolution mapping of the fire risk interface areas, recommendations for the implementation of regulatory building landscape measures, integration of risk assessment tools in the REMOcRA platform, risk reduction and self-protection standards and setup of the signs for evacuation routes and assembly areas. These results will benefit the authorities in charge of fire risk prevention and the residents and visitors of the areas affected by the pilot actions.

INTERMED si inserisce nel contesto del rischio de incendio nelle interfacce abitazione (habita)t/spazio naturale. L'interfaccia è l'area di contatto tra lo spazio naturale e centri abitati, che tendono ad espandersi a causa di espansione urbana e del abbandono rurale. Le interfacce sono aree con alta cricita di sicurezza delle merci e delle persone, della biodiversità e uso del territorio e dello sviluppo sostenibile. Il Scopo principale di INTERMED e identificare modi efficaci per ridurre la vulnerabilità di queste aree. A tale scopo, il progetto è diviso in tre parti: l'identificazione e la mappatura del rischio di incendio alle interfacce ,la vulnerabilità di edifici legati alla presenza di végétions nelle vicinanze dell'edificio, azioni pilota per ridurre la vulnerabilità delle zone d’ interfaccia. Questo lavoro e supportato da Partener da tutta l'area di cooperazione e permittera la condivisione del satato dell arte al nivelo legislativo, confrontare l'efficacia delle diverse azioni e infine definire i metodi più efficaci al fine di generalizzarli su li territori della zona di cooperazione. Durante il progetto INTERMED, saranno realizzati: Mappatura ad alta risoluzione delle aree di interfaccia con caratterizzazione del rischio incendio, Raccomandazioni per la realizzazione di misure normative nel contesto del paesaggio intorno agli edifici, Integrazione degli strumenti di valutazione del rischio nella piattaforma REMOcRA, Riduzione del rischio e misure di autoprotezione, Impostare la segnaletica per indicare percorsi di evacuazione e aree di assemblaggio. Questi risultati andranno a beneficio delle autorità responsabili della prevenzione dei rischi di incendio nonché dei residenti e dei visitatori delle aree interessate dalle azioni pilota
