Description (EN):

Proposed project starts with assumption of existence of certain percentage of successful entrepreneurs in CE, who are genuinely altruistic and would like to offer their resources (funds, work and knowledge), to social entrepreneurs, who are still lacking long-term and holistic support.We named socially responsible entrepreneurs: altruistic entrepreneurs Project innovativeness is in mobilization of altruistic entrepreneurs willingness to support social innovation and social entrepreneurship and in streaming it, into self-sustainable framework. Consequently, both key target groups will reach their goals, by cooperating together. Supporting framework will work on three layers: 1.) Social business support will be achieved through physical-virtual matching: altruistic entrepreneurs association, label and seven platform tools: match-making, lunch-surfing, ethical value awards, mentoring, volunteering, employment of disadvantaged groups (including migrants) and transnational upscaling of social innovations (WPT2). 2.) Capacity building of social entrepreneurs and social innovators will be established by coaching sessions, workshops, web-meetings and round tables, tackling the weakest knowledge topics: innovation process, fundraising, managing risk, employment, ICT and communication (WPT3). 3.) Capitalization and transnational upscaling will be achieved with building sustainable framework model, guidelines and policy recommendations, as well as, with development and assessment of innovative indicators and method for measuring impact of social entrepreneurship. Project ambition is to change current situation of social entrepreneurship depending mainly on public funds, to model, where successful private entrepreneurs will have supporting role. The result will be triple-win situation: entrepreneurs will get organized system to provide support, social entrepreneurs will get system to receive support and governments will save a bit of funds.

Achievements (EN):

Even though the project CE Responsible has ended in March 2022, it continues to connect successful entrepreneurs with social entrepreneurs through a developed platform, to make strong, long-term connections. It's a win-win situation: while social entrepreneurs gain the knowledge and expertise they need, successful entrepreneurs create a new business environment and improve positive social impact. The main output enabling the synergies is the net4socialimpact.eu platform. The website also contains coaching toolboxes and resources for both social entrepreneurs and altruistic ones. Very proud end-result of the project is also our Altruistic entrepreneurs’ international association, whose objective is to establish a common platform in Central Europe for the promotion of altruistic entrepreneurship and encouraging long-term cooperation between altruistic and social entrepreneurs. Project partners also developed and implemented three strategic documents for improving skills and competences which are: Central Europe roadmap for upscaling support to social entrepreneurship sector, Central Europe sustainable framework model supporting specifics of social entrepreneurship and Policy recommendations. In order to test the functionality of the resources and toolboxes, 11 project partners successfully implemented seven pilot actions for testing these tools, supporting both target groups in the process and building the initial network of entrepreneurs across Central Europe.

Expected Results (EN): R 1.2 Status of capacities of the public and private sector for skills development of employees and entrepreneurial competences achieved through transnational cooperation driving economic and social innovation in central European regions.

Expected Outputs (EN):

The Project uses joint transnational approach for further development and upscaling of existing social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship skills and knowledge capacities in Central Europe. Raising of capacities will be achieved with: 1.) Improved access to funding, cooperation and upscaling of social innovators/social entrepreneurs in WPT2 by: - setting up altruistic entrepreneur international community and label; -CE Support and networking platform; -development and testing of 7 tools: match-making and support tool, lunch-surfing tool, community value award, altruistic entrepreneurs patron, volunteer pooling, social integration tool and transnational upscaling tool. 2.) Increased knowledge capacities of social entrepreneurs in WPT3, with preparation of coaching material and workshops improving knowledge on (open)innovation, participative process, funding, management, negotiation, ICT, communication tools, etc… 3.) Increased knowledge capacities of altruistic entrepreneurs in WPT3, with altruistic entrepreneurs mentoring programme, round tables and cooperation cafes. 4.)Developed cooperation model, policy recommendations and impact evaluation in WPT4 by: -development of robust self-fundable model of cooperation between private sector (altruistic entrepreneurs) and social entrepreneurs; -Proposing policy and legal recommendations in order to support the cooperation model; - Developed method and implemented impact evaluation of proposed model.
