Description (EN):

Objective of the project "Enhancement cooperation for sustainable management of natural assets" is to increase cross-border cooperation of Pagėgiai and Punsk municipalities in order to find common solutions helping to reduce the impact of human activity in cross-border territory also in natural, cultural heritage and other attractive places, through the exchange of experience and lessons learned by both participating partners, thus increasing quality of public governance and increasing sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage in Pagėgiai and Punsk regions. Project idea was elaborated basing on the belief that responsibility for minimizing possible impact on the environment during the events, organized in historical, natural heritage or other attractive places, increase of sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage and coordinated management of natural assets lies with local authorities. During the project implementation period environmental management methodology will be prepared and tested in practice; competencies of specialists of participating municipalities will be increased; conditions for safer environment will be created also for future generations (environment has no borders; safe environment on one site of the border means safe on the other); social behavior in the field of environment and sustainable use of natural assets of local residents will be increased.

Celem projektu „Wzmacnianie współpracy na rzecz zrównoważonego zarządzania zasobami naturalnymi" jest promowanie transgranicznej współpracy samorządów regionu Pagegiai i gminy Puńsk poprzez wymianę dobrych praktyk i szukanie wspólnych rozwiązań, jak zmniejszyć wpływ działalności człowieka na obszarach przygranicznych, w tym dziedzictwa naturalnego i kulturowego, a także innych atrakcyjnych miejscach. Przyczyni się to do poprawy jakości zarządzania w administracji publicznej oraz zrównoważonego korzystania z dóbr dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego w regionie Pagėgiai i gminie Puńsk. Idea projektu opiera się na przekonaniu, że samorząd jest odpowiedzialny za organizowanie imprez w miejscach historycznych, dziedzictwa przyrodniczego lub w innych atrakcyjnych miejscach, zmniejszając oddziaływanie na przyrodę, jak również wzmacnianie zrównoważonego korzystania dziedzictwa przyrodniczego i kulturowego oraz bardziej skoordynowane zarządzanie zasobami naturalnymi. W ramach projektu zostanie przygotowana i przetestowana w praktyce metodologia zarządzania środowiskiem; specjaliści samorządów biorący udział w projekcie podniosą swoje kompetencje; zostaną stworze warunki bezpieczniejszego środowiska dla przyszłych pokoleń (środowisko nie ma granic, zdrowe środowisko po jednej stronie granicy – zdrowe i po drugiej stronie ); pozytywnie zmieni się społeczne zachowanie miejscowej ludności w dziedzinie środowiska na rzecz zrównoważonego wykorzystania zasobów naturalnych w okolicy.

Projekto “Bendradarbiavimo stiprinimas tvaraus gamtos išteklių valdymo srityje” tikslas yra skatinti Pagėgių ir Punsko savivaldybių bendradarbiavimą per sieną, siekiant per patirties ir gerosios praktikos mainus drauge ieškoti sprendimų, kaip sumažinti žmonių veiklos daromą poveikį pasienio teritorijai, įskaitant gamtinio ir kultūros paveldo bei kitas traukos vietas. Taip bus prisidedama prie viešojo valdymo kokybės gerinimo bei tvaraus gamtos ir kultūros paveldo naudojimo Pagėgių ir Punsko regionuose. Projekto idėja yra grįsta tikėjimu, jog savivaldybės yra atsakingos už renginių, organizuojamų istorinėse, gamtos paveldo ar kitose patraukliose vietose, poveikio gamtai mažinimą, taip pat už tvaraus gamtos ir kultūros paveldo naudojimo stiprinimą bei labiau koordinuotą gamtos išteklių valdymą. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu bus paruošta bei praktiškai išbandyta aplinkosaugos valdymo metodologija; dalyvaujančių savivaldybių specialistai pakels savo kompetencijas; bus sukurtos sąlygos saugesnei aplinkai ateities kartoms (aplinka neturi sienų; sveika aplinka vienoje sienos pusėje – sveika ir kitoje); teigiamai pasikeis vietos gyventojų socialinė elgsena aplinkos ir tvaraus gamtos išteklių naudojimo srityje.

Achievements (EN):

Helping to reduce the impact of negative human activity 239 participants took part in the competence building training, open discussions, 2 focus group meetings and joint creative workshops for youth were held in Pagėgiai and Punsk municipalities. Moreover, exhibition "Creative form Nature" was organised. Photo camera and special oven for baking ceramics were purchased.
