Description (EN): The main activities of the project will include:
1. Project management and coordination – to ensure the sound and proper implementation of all project activities;
2. Information and Publicity Campaign - The information/publicity activities will be conducted continuously throughout the project implementation based on the prepared communication plan. The purpose is to inform as much as possible bigger number of target group with planned activities/ project objectives as well as with the achieved project results/ sources of financing.
3. Guide “A collection of good practices for combating the climate change consequences in communities” which will be distributed in Bulgaria and Macedonia.
4. Open workshops on climate change awareness and "green" activities in Bulgaria and Macedonia with the aim to increase the awareness of young people on the climate change consequences, and related risks such as erosion, flooding, storms and drought, etc.
5. Roundtable discussions on mitigation of climate change consequences in Bulgaria and Macedonia to support the discussion and exchange of best practices, experiences and knowledge on the various measures for mitigation of climate change consequences in the communities of the common cross-border region.
6. Infrastructure activities in the Municipality of Sandanski - Arrangement of a part of the Sandanska Bistritsa riverbed and flood area including the construction of several correction walls of different length and gabions facilities according to the technical designs, cleaning and arrangements of the river bed, strengthening and creating dykes and river banks, etc. In addition, afforestation and reforestation of the river basin will also be included, as a measure for reducing the erosion and quieting the noise created by the river flow.
7. Infrastructure activities in the Municipality of Radovish - Arrangement of the 624-meters section of the river, by cleaning the river bed, setting up cascade thresholds, a quay wall, arranging the bottom of the river bed, building stairs on the quay wall and ramps to create access to the river.

1. Управление и координация на проекта - осигуряване на безпрепятственото и правилно изпълнение на всички дейности по проекта;
2. Информационна и рекламна кампания - Дейностите по информиране / публичност ще се провеждат непрекъснато по време на изпълнението на проекта въз основа на подготвения комуникационен план. Целта е да се информират възможно най-голям брой от целевите групи с планирани дейности / проектни цели, както и с постигнатите резултати от проекта / източници на финансиране.
3. Ръководство "Събиране на добри практики за борба с последиците от изменението на климата в общностите", което ще бъде разпространено в България и Македония.
4. Открита работилница за осъзнаване на климатичните промени и "зелени" дейности в България и Македония с цел повишаване на информираността на младите хора относно последствията от изменението на климата и свързаните с тях рискове като ерозия, наводнения, бури и суша и др.
5. Кръгла маса- дискусии за смекчаване на последиците от изменението на климата в България и Македония за подпомагане на обсъждането и обмена на най-добри практики, опит и знания за различните мерки за смекчаване на последиците от изменението на климата в общностите в общия трансграничен регион.

1. Управување и координација со проектот - да се обезбеди стабилно и правилно спроведување на сите проектни активности;

Кампања за информирање и публицитет- Активностите за информирање/публицитет ќе се извршуваат во континуитет во текот на целиот период на спроведување на проектот врз основа на предходно подготвен комуникативен план. Целта на кампањата е да се информираат што поголем број на претставници од целната група со планираните активности/ целите на проектот како и со постигнатите резултати/ изворите на финансирање.
3. Водич "Збирка на добри практики за борба против последиците од климатските промени во заедниците", кои ќе бидат дистрибуирани во Бугарија и Македонија.
4. Отворени работилници за свеста за климатски промени и "зелени" активности во Бугарија и Македонија со цел да се зголеми свеста кај младите за последиците од климатските промени и слични ризици како што се ерозија, поплави, бури и суши итн.
5. Тркалезна маса – Дискусија за ублажување на последиците од климатските промени во Бугарија и Македонија за поддршка и размена на најдобри практики, искуства и знаења за различните мерки за ублажување на последиците од климатските промени во заедниците на заедничкиот прекуграничен регион.
6. Инфраструктурни активности во Општина Сандански - Уредување на дел од коритото на реката Санданска Бистрица и областите на поплава, вклучувајќи изградба на неколку заштитни ѕидови од различни должини и габион според техничкиот дизајн, чистење и уредување на коритото, зајакнување и креирање насипи и реки, итн. Исто така, ќе се вклучи и садење дрвја и пошумување на речниот слив, како мерка за намалување на ерозијата и на бучавата создадена од речниот тек.
7. Инфраструктурни активности во општина Радовиш - Уредување на дел од реката во должина од 624 метри, со чистење на коритото, поставување на каскадни прагови, кејски ѕид, уредување на дното на коритото, градење скали на кејскиот ѕид и рампи со цел да се создаде пристап до реката.
Read more Achievements (EN): The regulation of the river beds, the landscaping and afforestation measures, directly affect the reduction and consequences of flooding in the areas, where both rivers are located. As a result, the existing threat of floods for local residents, infrastructure and local businesses was decreased. Following the discussions that was taken place as part of both joint roundtables (A5), the two municipalities and local stakeholders was defined common measures for adaptation and mitigation of climate change consequences. Furthermore, the specific role of the various stakeholders in the CB communities in the process of responding to climate changes was defined and further examined. Info-guide (A3) was made, tath collect and showcase good examples, best practise and successful projects for responding to different climate change adaptation measures which could be adapted and applied by local authorities and institutions of the cross-border region of BG and MK, as well as by other communities in both countries. Based on the abovementioned, the insufficient experience and knowledge of local communities in the field of adapting the local environment and infrastructure to the climate change consequences and resulting risks, were enhanced and further enriched. In general, the implementation of the project and objectives that was achieved helped to reduce the vulnerability to climate change consequences of both communities as part of the common CB region.
