The project ENJOY BEING TOGETHER aimed at the promoting social sphere in cross-border regions (Kraslava, LV and Polotsk, BY) through higher involvement of vulnerable groups into social life (participating in competitions, festivals and master-classes) thus drawing attention to their problems, needs and changing the attitude of the society towards people facing certain challenges. Disability and social exclusion has no nationality or borders and it requires a comprehensive approach and cooperation of social care service specialists. Groups of activities for the project implementation are chosen with the idea. 1. to facilitate social integration and activation of people with disabilities and social risk families with children by their participating in joint events. 2. to increase capacity and exchange of good practice of social care sector specialists by participating in joint exchange experience activities. 3. to establish Multi - Sensory centres in Kraslava and Polotsk for sensory stimulation of vulnerable groups with cognitive, emotional and physical challenges thus providing sustainability of project's results. As the result of the project 2 international competitions for disabled persons and 2 joint festivals for disabled persons, social risk families with children will be organized, 1 joint training, and 5 master-classes, 2 experience exchange visits will take place, 2 Multi- Sensory centres will be established (1 center with 1 Stimulation and 1 Relaxing room in Kraslava, 1 center with 1 Relaxation room in Polotsk). In the activities mentioned min. 80 members of vulnerable groups and 16 social care sector specialists will participate.
