Description (EN): Improved capacity of cultural stakeholders to provide high quality, versatile and sustainable cultural services on the basis of co-creation models and cross-sectoral approach

Повысить осведомленность и возможности внедрения лучших практик взаимодействия культуры и бизнеса в трансграничной зоне, делая её более привлекательной для международного туризма.

Achievements (EN):

With a huge amount of trainings, workshops and webinars, the CULTA aimed to build connections between cultural stakeholders and encouraged them to the cross-border cooperation between Finland and Russia. During the project over 900 cultural stakeholders were trained and 17 cross-border teams worked for building new cultural services. Several of the teams launched their services or products. Many of the teams were guided to apply funding for further developments and implementation. Also, CULTA provided possibilities to get funding by organizing pitching competitions, for example together with Oulu2026 organization.

Expected Results (EN):

The expected result of CULTA will be proportioned to the population having access to new high-quality cultural services in the cross-border areas, by increasing the share of private investments to provide these services and also involvement of private companies to produce these services in sustainable and business-oriented ways. The project creates new opportunities and co-operation and communality skills of cultural actors. It increases the importance of cultural sector for well-being and business development and innovativeness. It also contributes trans-sectoral collaboration.

Expected Outputs (EN):

1. The capacity to create diverse innovative high quality cultural service concepts based on cross-border values is increased. 2. Creative industry stakeholders are enabled to co-create high quality, versatile, cross-sectoral and profitable cultural services. 3. Regional and local capacities in supporting creative start-ups offering new cultural services enhanced and effectively linked with private companies, NGOs and other stakeholders. 4. New funding models connecting creative industry players with both public and private financial resources identified and transferred.
