Description (EN):

To satisfy their vital needs and to face consequences of the global change, the vegetals and animals species need high-quality and conected naturals habitats. CERES plans to implement actions to maintain and\or improve these networks of ecological continuities to improve the biodiversity of several types of forests and riparians habitats ecosystems from the SUDOE's area. The partners (scientifics and managers of natural areas) develop a shared method which allows to characterize the quality and the ecological connectivity and realize actions of management to improve the biodiversity, with a particular attention to the raising awareness of the public.

Expected Results (EN):

Converge diferents tools and methods implemented in several territories. Develop common tools for the characterization of hotspots of biodiversity and ecologicals corridors, Share the best practices of management of these hotspots of biodiversity and ecologicals corridors. Propose a package of technical recommendations to improve, maintain or protect the biodiversity of the forest and riparian ecosystems, based on a network of demonstrative sites on which management actions will have been implemented. on the scale of territories SUDOE.

Expected Outputs (EN):

Create and boost a network of forest manager of natural spaces from the SUDOE area. Identify and converge methods of mapping /modelling and practices of management favorable to the biodiversity. Demonstrative sites will be use as support to the animation made for forests owners, forests managers and territories.
