Description (EN):

The area between the Gotthard and the Simplon is affected by some important changes linked to the arrival of the "AlpTransit" and the entry into operation of the "Lötschberg". These large crossings allow the Alps to be quickly overcome. That profoundly modifies the perception of the Alpine context, its attractiveness and the catchment area. To face this challenge, the organization of a shared response across borders is fundamental, and it's necessary to start from the common promotion of the landscape and natural heritage. In the Alps today there are trains (the green train of the Alps and the Red Train of Bernina) with a connection function, a strong impact on the tourist network that put together different transport systems (cable cars, boats, etc. ..) and which have a clear positioning and a series of high quality offers. The Vigezzina-Centovallina, which also connects with these trains, can become the blue train of the Alps.

L'area tra il Gottardo e il Sempione è coinvolta da alcuni importanti cambiamenti collegati all'arrivo di AlpTransit e all'entrata in funzione del Lötschberg. Questi grandi attraversamenti consentono il superamento veloce delle Alpi modificando profondamente la percezione del contesto alpino, la sua attrattività e il bacino di utenza. Di fronte a questa sfida è fondamentale l’organizzazione di una risposta condivisa a livello transfrontaliero a partire dalla promozione comune del patrimonio paesaggistico e naturalistico. Nelle Alpi esistono oggi dei treni (Trenino verde delle alpi e il Trenino Rosso del Bernina) con funzione di collegamento a forte impatto turistico, che mettono in rete diversi sistemi di trasporto (funivie, battelli, ecc..) e che hanno un posizionamento chiaro e una serie di offerte di alta qualità. La Vigezzina-Centovallina, che si collega anche con questi treni, può diventare il treno blu delle Alpi.

Achievements (EN):

Connecting and connecting were the key actions to pursue the sustainable development of the territory and to enhance existing routes and infrastructures. PAES.CH.IT has activated a network of slow connections starting from the restoration and development of new trails in the area of Piana di Vigezzo. Through the strengthening of the network of excursions that affect the entire valley, the involvement of all the municipalities of the territory and the promotion of specific tourist packages aimed at the target of the bike world, which also affect the Locarnese and the Maggia Valley.

Expected Results (IT): Incrementare il numero dei visitatori. Richiamare un maggiore numero di presenze turistiche. Creare pacchetti turistici: - Treno blu dei percorsi religiosi. - Treno blu dei musei. - Treno blu e natura. - A forte attrattività.

Expected Outputs (IT):

1.Creazione di punto tappa presso la Piana di Vigezzo, raggiungibile dal fondavalle attraverso la Funivia Prestinone- Piana di Vigezzo. La nuova struttura si trova lungo uno dei principali itinerari transfrontalieri che collegano la Valle Vigezzo con la Valle dei Bagni posta a confine con la Svizzera. Tale iniziativa permetterà di creare un pacchetto Treno blu-funivia- viabilità pedestre accativante. 2. Pacchetti integrati fra treno blu e funivie svizzere. 1. Rendere funzionale l'attuale sistema di bike sharing con l'inserimento anche di E- bike, integrando così la mobilità su due ruote con il treno blu. 2. Rendere fruibili e promuovere gli itinerari transfrontalieri e religiosi che collegano il territorio italiano a quello svizzero. proporre pacchetti a tema capaci di attirare un target turistico diverso dall'esistente, integrando treno- battello-funivia- viabilità pedestre e emergenze naturali e culturali.
